tried coming up with an alternate model for airfields. now that we've got jet airfields, strategic bomber airfields, and the like-- it made sense to have a different model to show players what the difference is.
I've tried making numerous adjustments to this model-- but can't change the fact that the aircraft fly straight through that radar tower! I got rid of the generic bombers after a lot of work-- so I guess I could remove that radar tower as well-- if I can't find an easier solution first.
Dis Airfield Be like 2 Bombers? Pfft, I'll just crank that up to 3!
In the airfield file, their is a way to change the fly path the planes take when taking off or landing. I tried before but gave up very quickly since it was very difficult.
I know... it's really tricky! I thought I almost had it fixed and then the aircraft went into 'whirling dervish' mode and never left the ground! very frustrating. I even skewed the model about 20 degrees so the planes would 'miss' the radar tower. not sure why the changes don't show up in the game.
The only thing that came close to getting the planes to take off right is when I copied then slightly adjusted the code from the aircraft carrier files.
The more pics i see, the more my **** gets rock hard.
Keep up the great work!!
Interesting description, lol.
I think the Runway may be coded to that point, you'll have to find the right string of code and move the coded Runway to line up with the visible runway.

yeah, I already tried rotating the model 15 degrees counter-clockwise in Nifskope and it still didn't change how they airfield displayed in the game. so I'm a bit puzzled by this one. I'll keep at it until something changes.
