Experience Assassin's Creed II, a game released in 2009 with completely remastered and improved textures, visuals, character skins and effects. This project is a total texture replacement pack which aims to make the game look as beautiful and realistic as possible while keeping the original feel of the game. The goal of this graphic, texture replacement mod is to change old, ugly looking textures and improve or completely replace them. Some will be improved in it's unique way and some will be based on Brotherhood and Revelations(updated faces for example).
Assassin's Creed 2 Overhaul v 2.0 The goal of this graphic, texture replacement mod is to change old, ugly looking textures and improve or completely replace them.
ooh, i've been waiting for this mod for months and even started replaying ac2 a few days ago, not expecting your work to be finished soon
but suddenly made a random moddb check and here it is, wow!
just tested new textures in monteriggioni and san gimignano -- looks pretty fresh and juicy
noticed a few performance problems, just minor freezes -- hope they can be minimized by switching the graphics settings
anyway, you've made an impressive work, thank you so much!
If texture-replacement mod causes minor freezes, it´s usually caused by low texture budget. Find config file, raise texture allocation memory value by 512mb, it should do the trick. Sometimes, it´s not possible, but you can always hex-edit ".exe" .
(There is always possibility, that you don´t have req. HW, so: upgrade your graphics card, if you have less than 756mb VRAM.)
I would like to raise this memory texture allocation budget, can you explain how to do this? I have an i7 7700k and gtx1080TI and i also notice some new microstuttering in places after applying the overhaul. I looked in my documents and found the ac2 config file but there is nothing related to ram in the settings
Hell Yes! Thank you thank you thank you. I am downloading this right now. Amazing job hecumarine.
Thank's a lot, dude! You're the best!
Hey mate I was wondering where are the instructions for this? Thanks and I have the game on Steam. Great work, I love the mod keep it up and about Forli I was thinking maybe you could make it a bit brighter? Or add some more colour? Thanks man great work!
the game dont load on the mod thing
I like the initiative, but wouldn't it be easier if you could just patch the game files with your textures instead of running OpenTexMod at all. Like a real patch. It should be possible. Right?
I don't know, do you know a way ;) ?
How do I install this and add it to the game?
