Art Of War mod is partial-conversion modification adding lots of new features to old Zero Hour's gameplay, they are discussed in summary.
General Alexandra decided to use unmanned Tomahawk-mech Launcher. But still it is controlled distantly by human operator, so the operator can gain experience. The Tomahawk-mech can be upgraded to use electro-warheads which delivers higher damage to infantry, can disable vehicles and burn enemies infantry out of garrisoned buildings. When this mech reaches third veterancy level it arms volume-detonating warheads instead of usual explosives.
As I understand it is only his lower body? There will be also upper part, right? :)
lolololol truely a manly robot xD
With melee weaponry :)
lower body = legs, upperbody = tomahawk launcher
блин... что же это напоминает? ))))))
А я понял. Это вроде похоже на промежуточный режим истребителя Валькирия из Macross
I'm glad my mod isn't the only one perusing the mech concept. Good luck.
Looks weird...but may work well =)
nice lol.u should have also sometinh that looks like a titan from C&C TS:)
Volume-detonating warheads ? What's tht ? Thermobaric warheads ?
Nice model btw.
Maybe you could give it a special upgrade? Like maybe one launcher in range of a target will relay the target's position to nearby launchers, like the Patriot system?
And can you do something about the nose of the Tomahawk? It's square. I also don't get why people totally leave out cluster-bomb type weapons for anti-infantry use, and think of something else. (>O_O<)
omfgbang, in real life the square head would cause a bigger explosion with more debris and damage and also a bigger whole in ground from impact does that help you? P.S. im not too sure bout this but hey its worth a shot
You're probably right. But if the nose is round wont it drive further into the ground, causing an even bigger crater? Then again we're looking for damage radius not penetration depth. As i said, why totally leave out cluster bombs? The only mod using them that i know of is Beng's LaserDemoNuke Mod.
try to picture this form of the tomahawk mech: two legs, the upper part of each leg lowered, with a hed that looks a lot like the king oni's from RA3, body inspired by king oni, two arms, can launch 6 tomahawks, and has the charge ability (run towards a target area while knocking any obstacle that comes by).
Ehm... What difference with standard Tomahawk-Launcher ? Speed+ ?
hohohoho.......
walker......
walking ****
wow you got a working mecha, (i tried to make one but after hours of animating i tested it ingame and animations suck, so i gave up mech idea)
I like the legs of this unit, but the upper part, its really looks rushed, since its a large mech, give a proper upper body.
How about similiar to this? Earthseries.wikia.com
-Semi Fixed arms Holding weapons, dual cannon
-Dual tomahawk launcher on the back ( like shoulderblades, bit look to the sides, outwards )
-The "head" have the sensors, and a small machine gun
Yes, with this wouldnt be an specific altilary unit anymore, instead a steam roll ground unit, but for the mech concept thats gose far more better.
Aww come on! Just go all the way and give us Metal Gear Rex! lol
Metal Gear?
