Been thinking a lot recently about expanding the time-travel mechanic in the mod and I thought it'd be the perfect excuse to use some of my old WIP 50's/60's Aperture work in the mod.
This is an example of something I made around a year ago of the 50's Aperture entrance sign.
I believe it is more in the 50s style, but this is also part of Aperture in the 60s. Anyway I like the idea of time travel in Portal/Portal 2 and I think I haven't seen this concept reused in a mod yet so this can be a good idea.
Sounds familiar, it's been a while since I've played Portal 2 but yes, this is 50's Aperture as opposed to 60's, you can see what I was going for though.
There was mention of time travel in Portal 2 (during the exploration of the abandoned testing shaft), but apart from some custom maps on Steam's workshops, I don't think there have been any serious mod around using that concept, if that's what you mean by familiar.
