New modpack for AoE HD that redesign all the terrains and units. With the incoming HD remake i was really sad that the only remarkable features where moving water and new weird cliffs. So i decide to finish something that started 5 years ago and this is the result, i really hope you all enojoy it and have some fun :)

New camels and Mameluke, they where horseman actually so i give him a horse instead a camel.

Simply amazing! THIS is what I would call an HD Edition. Would also be great if there could be different models for each civilization like the architecture styles. As in Western and Eastern Europe, Middle East and the Far East. But I can imagine that there would be many difficulties to apply that properly. Or maybe could it be possible to do in a similar way as to how the architectural styles are coded?

That, what you mentioned is what I am planing to do for the future updates, the game will become really unique with civ specific graphics :D

That sound promising and pretty much what I had hopes for since FE, I always felt the original look to be too simplified and repetitive. Would this then include phased out and conceptional units from when the game was still called Tribes2 such as the spanish swordman, the swiss pikemen or the housit chariots.

The little known RTS game, Rise of Nations and its expansion pack does exactly that, give civilizations not only culturally different architectural style but also different models for units for the different civilizations.

I did something like that for the mod TOME based on the lord of the rings, when they release the new version you will see that each faction have his own unique units, it was hard lol I made almost 180 units or more.

I want to do something similar for the reskin mod too.

Also, another question: What about siege weapons? I'm not just talking about a reskining, I'm talking about making them unique for each civilization, although I wonder, what kind of differences could there be between them? I'm guessing some kind of ornament or stuff like that, and if you want to go into even more detail, change the weapon's wooden frame color to reflect the different types of wood, though that would be going too far I think.
