Description
Planetstorm is an objective based assault-style game played in two theaters: space and on the ground. In space you must engage fleets of massive warships, controlling weapons from ship interiors or launching fighters to engage in spectacular dogfights. Planetside you must fight either as attacker or defender, using an array of vehicles and weapons to overcome the enemy. The AFF: Planetstorm UDK Showcase features 2 familiar maps totally reworked with UDK's amazing new Lightmass lighting technology, an inbuilt IRC chat lobby and a host of rebalances and bugfixes. The game is completely standalone and features both full offline bot support and online/lan multiplayer.

so when do u plan to port the remaining maps over?? I know you have plans for NEXT YEAR but please please do keep us busy by releasing a more complete UDK package with the best of your maps from the RC8...
i doubt more maps will be released for the showcase, PS will be rebuild from scratch and the maps will be different...

UDK has an issue with 7.1, try setting your soundcard to 5.1 or lower.

it must be 725 mb correctly. Not less but can be more. South East Asia internet very slow. The faster one is (60kb/Sec) Mined is ummm sometimes 5kb/sec - 35kb/sec. Oversea internet very fast like in Singapore damn fast man. Where are you from Ripper0518? Country?
If it said error after i waited 13 Hours ++ I got real ****** off! Not **** off at the game, but at my internet.
Currently now i have 400mb. Need 325 more mb of the data then i can play. The previous one internet down the auto cancel. LOL.
how to change graphics options??
To change the graphical settings:
open this file in notepad or equivalent: c:\AFFPlanetstorm25A\UTgame\Config\UTEngine.ini
then scroll down to the 700th orso line, under [SystemSettings]
you can change all settings there.

i may have missed it where this was posted but what are the system requirements for the UKD demo
minimum is smth like this (mainly based on guesstimates):
2.5GHz dual core processor
2gb ram
9800gt Nvidia gfx card
10gb free HDD
If it requires all that then why does it play fine with only 2.4GHz Dual core
1GB RAM
8600GTX Evga Nvidia Card??????

This saddens me, looks like the game / mod finally died. Excellent work with this game. The space aspect is what PlanetSide 2 and Dust 514 are missing. Capital Ship combat with infantry is very fun. I wonder if those 2 games will ever include it.
