Ancient Kings is a mod to famed Crusader Kings II, providing players the opportunity to go back to the violent times of Antiquity. The mod takes place between Battle of Ipsus (301 BC), which saw the final dissolution of Alexander the Great's empire, as far as to 610 AD, when Emperor Heraclius got rid of the last remnant of old Roman Empire - official Latin. The mod will offer varied gameplay, allowing players to take role of Roman consuls during Third Roman-Samnite war or one of the diadochi on their quest to resurrect Alexander's empire, to pick sides in Carthage's and Rome's conflict during Second Punic War, to fight as one of the tribes during Ceasar's subjugation of Gaul or to choose to support either Mark Antony or Octavian Augustus during the Final War of the Roman Republic. The mod is currently WIP, but I try to improve its state regularly, while also providing that it's as realistic and historically accurate as it can be.

There should be no Macedonian culture in modern-day Bulgaria and FYROM.
They were either Paionian or Thracians.

Thanks. Not to mention that the map is fairly outdated and does not contain numerous corrections I've made while developing the new province map.
