Wow! Finally a real lengthy, serious attempt attempt at this game, almost one year later after release. And with TDD assets at that!
Although the outside areas were a bit boring, bland and confusing, most of the mod, the interior designs and atmosphere were pretty amazing (some of the inside areas had emptiness too here and there, but it's easily forgiveable).
You managed to create a good looking entertaining mod with the first person to really use these new ported assets on this engine, with barely any resources available. Additionally, I have to mention rebirth assets blended well with the old TDD ones perfectly in some places, and the flawed original oil system managed to work out with this mod. Really enjoyed the hidden stuff!
Monster encounters were decent, some were really well done similar to the original game. I think you fulfilled the potential for what you could work with.
I got some problems with crashes and certain mod versions not being able to launch properly, also the story wasn't anything too complex or refreshing, I managed to get through. Some keys were pretty hard to see :| But even tho, there were some down times, I enjoyed my journey throughout a lot, and it gave me hope that hpl3 modding has a real future.
A strong 8.5/10 for now, I'm really hoping you'll be back with more to play! Fine job sir.
