Yeah Penumbra, my FIRST and favorite horror game. After playing black plague, I am scared of almost nothing. It seriously braved me up. Until necrologue came and my fears have revived.

I must thank the makers of Penumbra: Necrologue in a lot of different ways. They are a very dedicated team with very creative ideas. Penumbra: Necrologue is for Penumbra what I want Amnesia: Fear in Hands to be for Amnesia. An unofficial fan-made sequence that will let the players revive the fear from the most deep parts of their spines.

Also, Penumbra helped us creating a modern world for our Amnesia. It's basically a tribute to say that all of your fears in FiH will remind you of the Penumbra Game series.

Yeah! Just like Hunter's Greed will have mainly Penumbra bits. But I was inspired to start the mod after playing the custom story "The Things in the Night". There sure is A LOT of Penumbra music in that one. And a modern-like map as well. (levels are huge too).

Also many players have said that Necrologue should be an official part of Penumbra. I would agree, it felt so right in the series :)

I can see that. Your game reminds me a lot of old horror blockbusters like Silent Hill & Obscurity. I'm really hyped for this game and hope that I'll be able to play it soon.

Well it's not very much like those games, the hospital you see in it is only a small part really, it's not like main thing, like in White Night. There's many various places.
Also, I've got like 3 other mod ideas after that. All Obsidian. Just now I may work a little slowly tho, cuz I'm in my 2nd semester of collage. but I'll have a big break after April 17.

Exactly one year ago we showed everybody a bunch of photos that all the Blaster Lizard team were taking to take inspiration for all the maps for Amnesia: Fear in Hands. We photographed castles, prisons, old mansions, old schools and broken bathrooms. Now, one year after, we're studying the outdoor scenaries like the main city of the game. To make it perfect, we are studying different cities around Europe to make our game. To show that to you, we released the photos as promotional images telling "from what fear is made of".

Description

We continue our researches around Brazil & the world for more locals and scenaries

This screenshot has been taken in Ireland. The layout of the buildings has inspired us creating the outdoor world of Brennard City for Amnesia: Fear in Hands. The walls, the windows and the dark feeling of a isolated city at night is the perfect set for our game. We needed to see it at first hand.
