well the Louisiana national guard was predominately creole and was still formed when the war kicked off, so they were part of the confederate army. However there services were refused, so they never saw any action on the south side sadly.
i know im five years late, but the native guard never saw frontline combat, and was soon disbanded, and most defected to union units with similar names.
We've started implementing a couple dozen custom weapon models to the mod. So if a unit was using a Springfield or an Enfield, you'll be able to see the troops actually using it.
I like the mix of scoped and un-scoped rifles here.
Some southern units had special black units snipers. Unfortunately history doesnt say much about them.
We've yet to find any credible source which would confirm any black soldiers saw action in the southern army.
