Historical Rework, as the name implies, aims to correct many historical errors and inaccuracies that were originally made by the developers at Infinity Ward.And which, after so many years of studying the topic, are especially striking for an increasing number of enlightened gamers, destroying for them a sense of the authenticity and historical accuracy of the events shown in the game.
The 130th Panzer Division was formed in January 1944 from the students and teaching staff of several tank schools ("Panzertruppenschule 1" and "Panzertruppenschule 2" were considered one of the most trained and experienced units of the Panzerwaffe), being an elite division, the Armoured training division was one of the best equipped divisions of the Wehrmacht in Normandy, for example, each panzergrenadier regiment was fully equipped with armored personnel carriers, while in other divisions often only one battalion from the motorized regiment had "Hanomags".
Let's move on to the analysis of the soldiers presented on the image. Both soldiers are dressed in the assault artillery uniform, typical for the Armoured training division, with matching shoulder boards.
On the shoulder boards of the Obergefreiter there is a strip of a candidate for the assignment of a non-commissioned officer.

Ribbon of the Iron Cross 2nd class;
Tank assault bronze badge (variant for motorized infantry);
Tank Destruction badge in gold.
On the head, a steel helmet with a camouflage cover in Splittermuster 31 camo pattern (the division was almost completely equipped with these helmet covers).

The helmet looks off because of lack of material texture and looks more like it's painted instead of it being a material canvas - try putting a ~50% blend overlay layer of canvas material texture on the helmet, with small material wrinkles visible etc; that will give a nice blend and make it look more natural, normal maps to accent the wrinkles would also be cool, I think this is what was used on the SS helmet in previous image

Your claims are actually irrelevant, since the correct texture of the fabric is already on the helmet cover, as for the folds, they are also there, but they are not so noticeable compared to the Waffen-SS cover. The fact is that the W-SS covers used a different method of attaching to the helmet, and besides, they were sewn from a different material, which is why they did not fit so tightly to the helmet.
