The initial release of Alien Mode. Please read the description.
Installation
Installing HLFixes is STRONGLY recommended for this mod.
It's not a requirement, but it'll fix some engine issues affecting the mod.
Grab it at Github.com
Extract the "alien" and "alien_addon" folders to your Half-Life installation.
You can find the location of your Half-Life installation by right clicking Half-Life in Steam -> Manage -> Browse local files.
After extracting, it should look like this:

- - - - alien
- - - - alien_addon
- - - - valve
- - - - ...
Restart Steam and you should see "Half-Life: Alien Mode" in your game list.
Notes
You can enable and disable the PS2 content with the "Enable PS2 content" setting in Video options.
Saves are **NOT** compatible between the PS2 and PC versions of maps.
The "Alien Mode" tab in the options menu contains settings that tweak the Alien Mode experience.
The default settings provide a PS2-like experience.
"HUD scale" controls how big the health bar at the bottom is. (default 2x)
"Use alternate melee timings" causes the delay between melee attacks to change depending on what animation was used. (default off)
"Use all gibberish lines" causes scientists and barneys to use all 12 gibberish lines instead of just 3. (default off)
"WON viewmodel tilt" enables the viewmodel tilting seen in older versions of Half-Life. (default on)
"View roll angle" controls the maximum angle that your view will rotate to when moving sideways. Set it to 0 to disable it. (default 2.0)
If you encounter any crashes, bugs, or things that PS2 version does but the mod doesn't, please file an issue at Github.com
