Introduction

AI Enhancing textures can produce some amazing results, I've decided to take it further by applying this technique to every texture in Vice City. The end result has textures that are 4 Times higher in detail while retaining the original look of the game.

Current State

In it's current state, the mod is almost complete. However there are some not-so-good results which need improvement. Before making the mod available, i need to make some improvements to all wheels and vehicle textures, right now the wheels have some over-smoothed sections causing them to appear warped or bent. Due to the way vehicles are textured in Vice City (and III), the up-scaling caused some of the blurred/shadowed sections to appear more marked or dirty, Also the number plates are an unreadable mess.

Availability

Check back later.

Requirements

Due to the size increase in all of the textures, You will need to download and install Open Limit Adjuster and SkyGfx. With these mods I've had no issues running and playing the game, without them the game will either crash on the load screen or shortly after.

Additional Plans

Once I've finished this mod, I intend on making a version of GTA III and (eventually) GTA San Andreas.

I'm using this mod since last night, looks awesome man. Looking forward to the San Andreas one... That's gonna be a huge job, but the amount of people who are gonna be in love with what you do will be far larger than the megabytes. Thanks for your hard work!!
