In this patch some unit stat balance is tweaked, a few bugs are fixed and a new provincial campaign is added!
The main focus on this patch is the new provincial campaign created by BHL_20. Basically it formats the prologue campaign to fit the VE factions, and allows you to play as the Romans, Gauls, Greeks or Illyrians.
Here are the full release notes:
v19 Patch
- Fixed UI bug not showing Roman banners on battle screen
- Fixed CTD/sprite issue of Illyrian Pirates
- New texture for Levy Freemen for Illyria in case revolts spawn unit
- New Sons of Mars Campaign by BHL_20
- Changed range and ammo of slingers, now they have longer range than comparable level archers, and less ammo.
- Some elite units now serve as command units that boost morale, but they have reduced unit number.
- Some minor roman and other factions' units stats changes.
- Doubled elephants upkeep and lowered their morale.
- reduced hp of chariots, so they are killable by infantry, increased their attack.
- all elephants units now have equal number of elephants, except indian, which have slightly less number, but they are also stronger; reduced their hp, reduced morale, armor and defense skill, increased cost of armored ones, reduced cost of others.
Now most elephants can be defeated by 1 skirmisher unit. Armored versions will need about 3 units of skirms to be defeated, and can also be defeated or routed by spearmen in melee due to reduced defense skill and morale. But this is just to make sure that they are not invincible unless you have skirms, who are still the main counter to them.
Now armored elephants are slightly weaker than towered ones were before, and towered elephants are a lot weaker than before, due to reduced armor.
To install, just extract to the same folder where the main HRTW folder is located and overwrite all files.

Please. Change de mod name to the original one, HRTW. ahowl11's Vanilla Enhancement Mod is not a good name. It will be easy to find for new people. ;)
hey, I am massive fan your vanilla enhancement mod for Rome total war, and I feel it is now a must have mod for my campaigns, I was wondering if you are porting this mod over to Rome remastered?
Please fix the following provincial campaign bug:
The game crush because it couldn't find the texture of the Sannium general (a texture corresponding to the Scipii's vanilla)

There is still a bug concerning the map on the campaign map, the provinces appear with a blue shade around and moved, could you fix that?
Can you make a version with normal economy, army upkeep price and recruitment cost?

BUG REPORT:
Hi,
Don't know where I should post this so I will leave it here. Not sure if this is a bug or a "feature" that differs from the vanilla game. Or a bug from the vanilla but if so never came across it before.
Bug: An army was hiding in a forest near one of my settlements and attacked it when I had my main force leave it. The AI army besieged and was instantly able to begin the battle with one battering ram effectively skipping any wait time for building equipment. I am assuming this is a glitch if not please let me know.
Other Details:
I am playing as Armenia and Pontus attacked my settlement (Kotais) the army is not commanded by a family member or general of Pontus just commanded by a light cavalry unit.
