DEMONIC ENEMIES: Our main hero (Marine) will encounter with many different enemy types during his campaign. "Demonic Enemies" are the enemy types that are related with the Demon Invasion. I want to give all readers more detailed information about each Demonic Enemy type in this article:

.

- There is a number on each enemy type. Each number represents its related enemy type.

Doom Monsters

Possessed Humans

  • ZOMBIE [1]: They were regular UAC Personels before the Demon Invasion. Lost Souls possessed UAC Personels into Zombies. They are aggressive and brainless melee units. Most of them are slow. However sometimes they may sprint against their target(s). They can ambush their target(s) in narrow corridors. "Hit and Run" Tactic is ideal for slow ones. "Double Barreled Shotgun" or "Sprint" are recommended for faster ones.
  • FORMER HUMAN [2]: They were regular UAC Security Guards before the Demon Invasion. Lost Souls possessed UAC Security Guards into Zombieman units. They are the weakest Human ranged units however they are also the most common Human ranged units in early game. It is possible to avoid from their shots by moving to left-right. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic is ideal for them. "Sprint" is not necessary however it makes easier to avoid from their projectiles.
  • SHOTGUN GUY [3]: They are approximately same with Zombieman units. The only difference is that they carry a more powerful ranged weapon. So when you encounter with mixed of Zombieman and Shotgun Guy unit(s) kill Shotgun Guy(s) at first.
  • HEAVY WEAPON DUDE [4]: They were Zombieman units in the past. Betruger upgraded all Zombieman units into Heavy Weapon Dude units. So they are much more dangerous after now. Their attack rate is high due to their chaingun. So player needs to kill them quickly. "Double Barreled Shotgun" or "Sprint" are recommended.

Low Level Demons

  • LOST SOUL [5]: They can possess Humans. Other than that they can burn their target(s) at a close range by creating flames from their mouth. They usually prefer to attack their target(s) inside of a friend group. They are fast units. Some of them might be even faster than their own regular speed. "Hit and Run" Tactic is ideal for them.
  • BABY LOST SOUL [5]: They are newborn Baby Lost Souls from Pain Elementals. They are same with regular Lost Souls except their lower attack damage.
  • IMP [6]: They are standard ranged Demon Units. They throw fireballs against their target(s). They are very common Demons. They can outnumber their target(s) along with their countless fireball projectiles. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic is ideal for them.
  • NIGHTMARE IMP [6]: They throw Hellknight's green projectiles instead of fireballs. They have a better attack rate. They have a faster projectile. They have more attack damage. Also they always look like a bat except attacking and dying.
  • PINKY [7]: They are standard melee Demon Units. They are very dangerous at close range due to their strong jaw. Also they can absorb many "Standard Shotgun" hits until they die. They can sprint against their target(s). But this is a very rare situation. "Hit and Run" Tactic is ideal for them.
  • SPECTRE [7]: They have a faster movement speed. They are faster than Marine's walking speed. Also they are harder to be spotted. Because they always look like a bat except attacking and dying. "Sprint" and "Double Barreled Shotgun" are very important to deal with them.

Low-Medium Level Demons

  • CACODEMON [8]: They move by floating on air. They use fireballs against their target(s). Their attack rate is lower than Imps but their fireballs move faster and are more powerful than Imp fireballs. Also they can absorb many "Standard Shotgun" hits until they die. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic is ideal for them.
  • PAIN ELEMENTAL [9]: They throw a new Baby Lost Soul from their mouth as a fast projectile against their target(s). Also they leave 2 new Baby Lost Souls after their death. If the projectile Lost Soul achieves to hit it can cause a serious damage to the target(s). After they throw their projectile Lost Soul you can avoid from their projectile Lost Soul by moving to an another place. Also "Sprint" and "Distance" are important to avoid from their Lost Soul projectiles.

Medium Level Demons

  • HELLKNIGHT [10]: They are more elite Demon Units. They throw green fast projectiles against their target(s). They are tough units. Even they can absorb "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" ammos a few times. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic and "Double Barreled Shotgun" are ideal for them.
  • ARACHNOTRON [11]: They are the smaller minions of the Spiderdemon. They throw blue plasma projectiles against their target(s). They have a rapid attack rate. They are rare enemy units. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic and "Double Barreled Shotgun" are ideal for them.
  • REVENANT [12]: They are the most dangerous medium level Demon Units. Because they have a special projectile and they throw 2 projectiles in rows at the same attack period. Also their projectiles move too fast. They have quite offensive capabilities. Fortunately they are rare enemy units like Arachnotrons. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic, "Double Barreled Shotgun" and "Sprint" are ideal for them.

{High Level Demons and the Spiderdemon boss fight are not available in current episodes...]

Demonic Others

Alpha Team

Possessed Vampires

  • VAMPIRE KNIGHT (COMMANDO): They were Vampire Units in the past. They were possessed by Betruger against Marine. They are standard and mounted melee Vampire Units. They are faster than Marine's walking speed. Also they can absorb many "Standard Shotgun" hits until they die. Also they like coming along with Vampire Sector units as pairs. "Hit and Run" Tactic, "Sprint" and "Double Barreled Shotgun" are recommended.
  • VAMPIRE SECTOR (COMMANDO): They were Vampire Units in the past. They were possessed by Betruger against Marine. They are standard and mounted ranged Vampire Units. They are more fragile than Vampire Knight units however they have more offensive capabilities due to their strong "Shotgun" weapon. Also they like coming along with Vampire Knight units as pairs. It is possible to avoid from their shots by moving to left-right. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic, "Double Barreled Shotgun" and/or "Sprint" are ideal for them.

Possessed Human Boss Battles

  • ALPHA TEAM: Our Marine will fight against possessed Alpha Team members. They use "Standard Shotgun" against our Marine. It is possible to avoid from their shots by moving to left-right. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic, "Double Barreled Shotgun" and "Sprint" are ideal for them.
  • SABAOTH: Betruger transformed Thomas Kelly (UAC Commander) into this creature to kill our Marine. It is a huge and slow melee unit. However despite it is slow it can sprint against our Marine. Marine can avoid from it by using his own "Sprint". After it losts its mega armor "Hit and Run" Tactic, "Sprint" and "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" are recommended.

Demon Boss Battles

  • BARON OF HELL [15]: They will try to protect the Phobos portal against our Marine. They are approximately same with Hellknight units. However they can absorb much more damage. Their projectile moves faster and is much more powerful. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic and "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" are recommended. Also you can use "Double Barreled Shotgun" if you don't have enough "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" ammos.
  • CYBERDEMON [16]: It is one of the two Demon Bosses. It is huge, very long and muscular. It uses its rocket launcher against its target(s). Its attack rate is low however its rockets move very fast. Our Marine can't avoid from its rockets unless he sprints. There are 2 different Cyberdemon boss battles in this campaign. You need to read and apply the "related hints" to win both of the boss battles.

Betruger

Betruger

  • REAL BETRUGER (Scripted Events): Betruger will encounter with Marine in some portions of this campaign with his own special scripted events. It is not possible to kill Betruger. However Marine can avoid from his all threats. Sometimes he creates new environmental hazards suddenly with his Demonic Powers to kill Marine. Other than that he teleports new Demons against Marine. He taunts Marine. He teleports Marine to an another place. He tries to kill Marine directly. But like I said before Marine is able to avoid from his all available threats in all scripted events.
  • FAKE BETRUGER (Projectile Unit): Marine will start to encounter with these unit(s) in Episode 4. This Betruger Unit throws a fast green projectile against Marine. After he throws his projectile he disappears from the map. Marine needs to avoid from Betruger's projectile to survive. Also sometimes Marine encounters with many Betruger Units at the same time. So Marine needs to avoid from all projectiles at the same time to survive.

Special Enemies

  • TELEPORTING ENEMIES: Some enemy units can change their place by teleporting after a regular time period. They teleport one by one to some scripted points as the cycle. So you need to kill the related enemy before its next teleportation. You need to use your limited ammos (according to its hp amount) to kill it quicker.
  • FOLLOWING ENEMIES: Some extremely powerful enemy unit(s) will try to kill Marine by chasing him. Marine needs to run away from them to survive. Because he won't have any chances against these enemies in related portion(s). While he is running away from these enemies he needs to be careful against all available "Environmental Hazards" to survive. Also these enemies can be a Possessed Human or Demon or Vampire.

.

OTHER ENEMIES: Our main hero (Marine) will encounter with many different enemy types during his campaign. "Other Enemies" are the enemy types that are other than related with the Demon Invasion. I want to give all readers more detailed information about each Other Enemy type in this article.

- Also there are 2 different Other Enemy types. Major Enemies are the types that encounter with our unit many times as regular enemy types. Minor Enemies are the types that encounter with our unit only in single portion or double portions. They are very exceptional enemy types.

- There is a number on each enemy type. Each number represents its related enemy type. I will start with Major Enemies at first.

Low Level Vampires

Other 1 5

  • VAMPIRE SWORDSMAN [1]: They are standard melee Vampire Units. They have a military discipline like Human Swordsmans. They march against their target(s). They use their sword against their target(s). They are a bit slower than Marine's walking speed. So "Hit and Run" Tactic is ideal for them. However "Sprint" and/or "Double Barreled Shotgun" make things easier but not necessary.
  • VAMPIRE ZOMBIE [2]: Vampires can possess Humans into their Vampire Zombie units. They are fast melee units. Their movement speed is faster than Marine's walking speed. Also when they die they explode. So if your unit kills them from a close distance he is hurted from the explosion. Because of this reason Marine needs to kill each of them from a longer distance. "Sprint" or "Double Barreled Shotgun" and "Hit and Run" Tactic are recommended.
  • VAMPIRE SOUL [3]: They are floating soul units like Lost Souls. They can create fire ship type flames against their target(s). They are ranged units. They attack their target(s) inside of a friend group. Marine needs to change his place continuously to avoid from their fire ship type flames. "Hit and Run" Tactic are recommended. Also "Double Barreled Shotgun" makes things easier but not necessary.

Medium Level Vampires

Other 2 5

  • VAMPIRE HORSE [4]: They are fast Vampire Horse units. They stampede against their target(s). They are quite faster than Marine's walking speed however slower than Marine's sprint speed. Also they are the fastest enemy type in this campaign. Fortunately they are rare enemy units but they are not as rare as Minor Enemies. "Sprint" and "Double Barreled Shotgun" are necessary to deal with them.
  • VAMPIRE ARCHER [5]: They are standard ranged Vampire Archer units. They look like a bat while moving. Also they look like a regular UAC Personel while standing. These features make them harder to be spotted. It is possible to avoid from their arrows by moving to left-right after they throw their arrows. They are rare enemy units like Vampire Horses. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic is ideal for them. Also "Sprint" makes things easier.

High Level Vampires

Other 3 5

  • VAMPIRE KNIGHT [6]: They are standard and mounted melee Vampire Units. They are faster than Marine's walking speed. Also they can absorb many "Standard Shotgun" hits until they die. Also they like coming along with Vampire Sector units as pairs. "Hit and Run" Tactic, "Sprint" and "Double Barreled Shotgun" are recommended.
  • VAMPIRE SECTOR [7]: They are standard and mounted ranged Vampire Units.
  • VAMPIRE BARON [8]: They are the elite Vampire Units. They are the most powerful Vampire Units if we don't include the "Vampire King". They are melee units. They are faster than Marine's walking speed. They are tough units. Even they can absorb a few "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" hits until they die. "Hit and Run" Tactic, "Sprint" and "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" are ideal for them. Also if you don't have enough "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" ammos you can use "Double Barreled Shotgun" instead of them.

Bosses

Other 4 5

  • VAMPIRE KING [9]: It is the king of all Vampire Troops. It is a huge melee unit. It will chase Marine 2 times to kill Marine. However it won't succeed to kill Marine. You need to be careful against all available environmental hazards while trying to flee from it with Marine. Also it can teleport to catch Marine from an another direction. Because Demons gave it this special Demonic Power. After it changes its side against Demons you won't need to run away from it anymore.
  • SOUL CUBE [10]: It is the special Martian artifact that was resurrected in "Delta Labs Resurrection Chamber". Betruger captured it with "Demonic Control Devices" to control it. It needs to wake up by being alerted from Marine. It will try to kill Marine by using its one hit-ko and fast projectiles. Marine can avoid from its all projectiles easily by changing his place. Marine needs to approach it quickly after killing all Demonic Control Device users to be able to interact with this artifact. If Marine achieves to interact with this artifact 4 times this artifact will wake up.

Minor Enemies

Other 5 5

  • MARTIAN REBEL [1]: The Martian Rebels will try to stop Samuel Hayden due to Samuel Hayden's dangerous teleportation experiments. They are regular Martian Musketeers. It is possible to avoid from their shots by moving to left-right. Also they are fragile units. Your main unit can kill one of them with a single successful hit. "Hit and Avoid" Tactic is ideal for them. Also your unit needs to behave quick to kill all of them.
  • SKELETON [2]: They are weak melee units. You will encounter with them in Episode 2 Arcade Game and Episode 4 Right Mars Cave sections. You need to kill them to make your path larger in Episode 4. Otherwise they may squeeze your unit in Episode 4. Also "Hit and Run" Tactic and "attacking them from a higher elevation area" are ideal for them.
  • KILLER [3]: They are the Killer UAC Personels after returning from the Hell planet. They obtained negative side effects from the Hell planet. They are melee units. They will try to ambush Marine. "Hit and Run" Tactic is ideal for them. Also they are a "training segment" for "Hit and Run" Tactic.
  • DEMONIC TURRETS [4]: Demons will try to ambush Marine with their Demonic Turrets. These Turrets need an user to work. So if you kill all users before they reach the Turrets or after as soon as they reach the Turrets you won't get very much problem from Turrets. If you don't kill their user(s) Turrets will continue to damage Marine continuously.
  • DEMONIC CAR [5]: Demons will send their Demonic Cars while Marine is driving an "UAC Transportation Car" to reach "UAC Deimos Base". They move very fast like Marine's Car. Also they use a mini gun like Marine's Car. Marine's needs to kill all of them by using a higher elevation area. In addition if Marine behaves very aggressive (before Demonic Cars start to attack against Marine's Car) Marine can kill all of them in a very early period without taking too much damage. Also they will make a surprise to the walking Marine in a secret portion of this campaign.
  • UAC SENTRY BOT [6]: They are controlled by VEGA that is the main artificial intelligence system of all UAC Mars Bases. They are special armed war robots. They use high rate plasma projectiles against their target(s). They will try to kill Marine in a special portion due to VEGA's hack. "BFG" is the easiest and quickest way to defeat them. Other than that Marine can use "Sprint", "Rocket Barreled Shotgun" and the most possible "Hit and Avoid" Tactic to defeat them.
