AfterMath: Episode 1 is an upcoming mod being made by the AfterMath Dev Team. After the citadels explosion at the end of Half-Life 2, Gordon Freeman was found by fleeing combine under the debris, and was taken to an area known as the Combine Labs, which was built into a mountain. Gordon Freeman awakens to see his cell door open, and no combine around. After finding his trusty crowbar in an approximate work area, he sets off to start another journey,
