Absolute Battlefront: Galactic Conquest aims to be the most complete Galactic Conquest mod ever created for Star Wars Battlefront II. The usual issues regularly seen in GC mods such as the Yavin model blocking the camera zoom, planet models not spinning and fleet ship models not appearing over the mod planets have been fixed. Additional features include custom planet models, multiple GCs being selectable in the menu, custom heroes, custom loadscreens, and covers a range of eras and maps created by the modding community. Previously called Absolute War.

After a year and a half break, a new version of 'Choose Your Own' Galactic Conquest - the Original and the Classic Grid Versions, will be released very soon! I have added more or less every map released since the last version of this mod came out.

Featuring 50 new maps, 11 new planets, improvements to the lighting in Classic Grid Version, improved connections map and connections stability in the Original Version, and a lot of bug fixes and improvements behind the scenes. In total, over 400 maps will now be playable over 178 planets!

This grid shows the new connections layout for the Original CYO Version. I had to go through every planet individually and rewrite the code for the connections, as there was just too many errors in the previous setup. I used this grid to help me trace the connections to make sure I didn't miss any. I also added in some lines of code to detect when connections are missing that should be there, and fix them.
I plan on releasing the 2024 versions some time next month, so stay tuned. I'll be releasing more details between now and then too...
