While AWAAP development is still paused, hope is at hands: "Bandits, coming in at eight o'clock high...break, break, break,........Gold Wing take those fighters, Natley and McArthur with me, we're going after the bombers....I'm going in on the leader.........got him! his starboard engine's burning up.....follow my lead men, tally ho!" ".......Damn it Gold Wing keep those fighters off us, I'm being torn to pieces......primary fuel lines been hit.....Jesus, keep them off me you bastards....those last two bombers aren't going to shoot themselves down....good God they've got the Bristol, her tanks have blown, she's going down!" A Wing And A Prayer is a total conversion for the Homeworld 2 engine, moving the action from space combat to early twentieth century aerial battles between a variety of fictional aircraft and airships, ranging from scout fighters up to ironclad super Zeppelins. Drawing on the style of games like "Crimson...

The British and German carriers and refinery airships, the German ammo barge and the neutral ferry. The final image is the end product of some very intresting conversations with a number of people regarding the direction of the project, art, technical issues etc.

One of the those aforementioned conversations was with Uk_resistant who is currently studying game design and is looking to get into the industry. A few weeks ago he produced this skinned model based on one of the early concepts of the Sunbeam Airship. While the design has changed with the new batch of concepts it still gives a great sense of what AWAAP should look and feel like, my thanks to him for dedicating his time to it.

In other news I'm hoping to overhaul our outdated and utterly temporary website when I have the time, possibly over the holiday period., all that remains is to wish everyone a merry christmas.

Hey Dr.
I like everything besides the brit ref ship. It seems to have pockets there - on its sides- like drawers or something. It needs some space, don't put them so close to another. Everything else is perfect and getting better as usually. You are really making improvement on all the ships, since they become more and more desirable to use ingame.
I have learned much about 3D modelling and will hopefully present you a pretty model of the ferry ship someday. Don't count on me though, as I'm only practicing and your ships are perfect for that.
Bye,

I don't mind a slowed development as long as it comes out eventually. :) Nice work.
