Could use a bigger cannon, I suppose... still MUCH better than EA's crap.

Come on! What does everybody have against my cannon? Look at FCS-T:
Fas.org
Maybe it's magnetic assisted, maybe it uses advanced ammunition? You know, caliber is not the most important cannon's parameter when it comes to effectiveness. Compare NATO 120mm and Russian 125mm for example.

Sorry, I meant a little longer cannon (since C&C tanks don't have frag shells, bigger calibre is useless :) )

Which NATO 120mm cannon, there are tons of 120mm models?

L-44 of course, it's the most wide spread. Most effective shells of which have penetration capability of 850mm. Early 125mm shells on the other hand penetrated about 400mm. Of course modern Russian APFSDS is much more effective, but you still can see that caliber does not matter much.

I still prefer the 125mm cannon.
Did I mention the turret kicks *** (unmanned turrets FTW)?

>I still prefer the 125mm cannon.
I wouldn't. The case is not in caliber, but in ammo storage structure.
Russian 125mm sucks because of split loading system. It's the main setback of our gun systems.

Seriously? The US hasn't deployed a domestic design since the 50's, 90mil was the last thing they developed themselves.
the 105's were licenced copies of the British ordnance and the 120's are duplicates of Rheinmetall's gun.

Anyway, very nice render, and the GDI Rig already proves it can be done within the engine.. If I may give one bit of advice though, look at technological designs, specifically ammunition feed. The rails upon which the turret slides doesn't appear very accommodating: there's a bump in the rails which would hamper the supporting bracket and no means of supplying additional shells to the turret.

Flatten the aft bump, give the turret some kind of locking system, a ring or hatch from which ammunition can be fed and you have a technically plausible design.
Judging by the geometry and textures, this surely falls within your skillset.
