I like the one to the right better than the one to the left; More fancy!
Very nice overall though, and I can tell that w/ your modeling talent, both would look great!

They're either variants or ideas, its up to the modellers :) I love a good amount of variation but i had to narrow it down to 2 or 3 max

It's a testamanet to their confidence, it's bare because they're cocky, they are not elite units, where will be more heavily armed axemen as they upgrade to later tiers, the whole design is based around an over confidence and stubbornness against people who wear full plate armour etc.

You say that and I know it’s clearly coming from the pop culture depiction of berserkers wearing nothing and wielding a hefty axe, but in that case why are they wearing armour on their shoulders, abdomen and head? Not that I don’t like the concept of vulnerability brought on by cockiness and possible religious reasons, if anything it shows off Rhun’s chadness. Maybe throughout the entire line while they do wear armour across their body, they shed their helmets as that is the most vulnerable and important area of the body? I still do like the design though, generally your concepts are very cool apart from the upside down Rhunnic shield on the Spearmen.
