Kingdoms of Arda is a Singleplayer & Multiplayer total conversion of Mount & Blade II Bannerlord, that brings the world of Tolkien into the game. This includes: characters, locations, weapons etc. from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Silmarillion and other works by Tolkien and media made for his universe.
The making of this armour has been recorded and there will be a tutorial series covering the workflow in the coming weeks.
Can't wait.
Damn. Best made orc armor i've ever seen. Maybe use some darker colors
I'll try out some steel that is closer to the plate of the Mordor Uruks.
The helmet's great, in regards to the rest, for me the Weta design style was better captured here: Moddb.com
Now I wouldn't presume to tell you how to do your job, but I feel the orcs' armour needs to be more makeshift and misshapen. Moreover, I appreciate that this may be a depiction of an orc whose outfit was scavenged from a human/elf, however, I still believe that a more rudimentary, battered and maybe mismatched design would be more appropriate.
Anyway, keep working, you've got a real talent for this stuff.
P.S. I think some animal skins would do wonders.
It is based upon a WETA design ;)

And be aware that not every Orc will around with that armoury, it looks more like a middle-high tier unit
Yeah, my bad.
This is one of many, there are different types of orc, tiers of orc weapons and arms, and location based armours, see this as a variation and not what every single orc will be dressed in :D
As the others have said, this is a Weta design.
The design you refer to will be used specifically by the Mordor Uruks. While orcs will use a bunch of random and mismatched gear, the one above being the first of many.
The reasoning is that the Uruks are more of the military elite, so they will receive armour that is actually forged in the smithies of Mordor and be *somewhat* uniform(in design/style at least).

Oh and on animal skins. Maybe, it won't be a common thing. Just because of Mordor climate and access to fur.
Makes sense.
Eppiicc!
How closely are you guys working with the Rise of Mordor team, out of curiosity
We had planned on working together more closely in the past, but now the KoA team decided we will work independently, no collaborations as it stands.
Neat, can't wait to see more orcish models. Shaders can always be used to darken the textures/materials in game (for those worried about the current brightness of the armour).
P.S. If you're in need of prop models or any kind of smaller models I think I could be of some use to your team.
Feel free to join the discord and show what you can^^
As Earendil says, you can come and post some of your stuff on discord, or message it to me here on Moddb.
