Subarmalis and Squamata image - 457 AD: Last Years of the Western Empire mod for Mount & Blade: Warband

Some of our new chest pieces. On the lelft, a simple subarmalis with blue pteryges while on the right we have two variants of scale torso armor inspired by early 4th century exempla such as, concerning the decorative bands on the chest, the armor worn in the Portrait of the Four Tetrarchs, a porphyry sculpture originally made in Constantinople, moved to Venice and currently back in Istanbul Archaeology Museum. For the scale, instead, fragments of scale plates from Carnutum have been used to texture the main body of the armor. Do you like the armor? You'll have it in the upcoming update!
