Heck, you're not the only one with a robo fetish.

On a more normal note, the model is looking sickeningly good, I'm loving the detail. The arms and weapons are looking especially nice.

IT might look better if you put more than 3 barrels on the gattling cannon like 6 but other that that it looks nice

I thought this looked familiar! I saw the movie many years ago, but I couldn't remember the name, so thanks for that!

Yeah man that movies in my 10 top for sure. That scene where the JGSDF was deploying through out the snowy city and there was no talking for like 20 mins, jus the ambient sounds and music, just absolutely beautiful.

Description

Based on the AL-97B Improved Hannibal from the anime Patlabor, a scene of which you can see here Youtube.com this variant has many improvements over its predecessor.

Ive got mad love for this particular mecha, robo fetish? Perhaps, but what I do know, is this model is an absolute monster coming in at 65k polys (thats including all le weapons).

Speaking of weapons, this guys main weapon is a 30mm belt-fed gatling cannon, with a multi-ATGM pod attached to the right arm, and a small chain gun under the nose.

This mech, like the MK I Light Tactical-frame, are first generation mechs, akin to the early Bradley and M1A2 Abrams and thus are some of the most common mecha in the game, which reflects in their performance and price. Due to MK I Tac-frames early first gen power cores, they are unable to wield directed energy weapons.

Also, mad props to 0neBloke for helpin me with the ammo belt, that thing was a bitch.

All in all, around 3 days modelling time from start to finish. Onto the next mech.. :)
