This part of the diary, we want to devote to one, specific type of the infantry. In most fractions infantry is the basic military unit and also the most common one. In the case of Rzeczpospolita and Austrian Empire these are fusiliers, while in Prussian Empire and Russian Empire are jaegers .
Similarly like in the case of the another infantry military units, jaegers are the most skilled and the best equipped in the Prussian military forces. They are very effective in fight in a melee as well as on long distances. They also use a larger number of formations, than their counterparts in the another countries, whose infantry is much weaker on the battlefield. Advantage of the Prussian infantry does not mean that also another military units in Prussian army are going to have it too, especially Prussian cavalry is much less effective.
