Yep, i warned the author through MOD DB about that. Meanwhile i monkeyed myself a patch and it solved the problem, but the odd yellow card icons i mentioned for those 3 specific upgrades are still present. I could do more with pics but i cant post those here. However if any of you guys are in the anomaly discord i'm there with the same nickname and would be pleased to post screenshots of those.

I noticed that your addon makes quite a few gun icons of the new BaS update (22-aug-2021) disappear. I have a light 36 mod load order and just finished going to each one to find the conflict. Thanks a lot for your addon man ! It's a must have in my opinion :D

I found the culprit for the missing icons, its the QOL Icons V3 addon Moddb.com

About the descriptions, the items show up as yellow cards and are for the following scopes: aimpoint_pro psicho_rmr and trijicon_rmr

They can easily be distinguished by their "HD" icons, which is something the other weapons don't have. What irked me with it is the immersion side seeing those labels on all guns :P

My suggestiion for now is to do a clean install of the game in a diferent folder, download Mod Organizer 2 from this link Github.com, install it and use MO2 to install only this addon into the game and test it.

If the M16A4 is not part of it then i'm stumped since i us no weapon addon other than yours. About the KS-23, it is doint TOO much damage and is too common. While doing test runs i'm wearing a duty proto exoskeleton pimped to max along with one empty artifact and 2 upgraded carbon steel plates. Under any other circunstances i'm a tank, but if i get shot by a KS-23 i'm dead in 2 shots. That said, when I am the one wielding the gun i need to shoot a duty buy with an exoskeleton between 3-4 times, in the face to kill him and sometimes he doesn't die even then. I tested both the long and short version of the KS-23. When wielded by NPCs i get gimped in seconds, when i'm the one using it i feel as if the gun is powerless. I have far better luck with that one shotgun from your addon that has 2 shots in rapid succession which is strange since that shotgun is firing normal buckshot and with the KS-23 i tested both the shell shot and the barrikada shot against NPCs and they both do next to no damage on them, but against me i'm a 1-2 shot kill at most.
About the AKs the descriptio says i can mount a PSO scope, but when i try it they won't mount, i only managed to mount the PSO scope on your AK-74, the full orange one. I'll do more tests by temporarily disabling an extra addon i added to remove the BaS name from guns (for immersion reasons) and i'll report back with my findings.

If you are using MO2 try opening a new instance and testing on a clean instance with this mod only. If it works then there's a high chance the problem is some other mod in your loadout.

I'm loving this addon so far ! Just 2 things to report, one is that when the M203 grenade launcher is attached to the M16A4 while the gun is in your hands the launcher itself becomes invisible. If you attach it while in inventory and then equip the gun it shows normally. I'd post screenshots but i don't know how to do that in comments.

Another thing is the KS-23. I loved the concept but its a hard thing to live with. I'm doing testing for people on another addon and i'm getting tired of either being one shot or ending up with 1/5th of my health in a single shot of one of those. I wouldn't mind if when i use the gun i had the same effect on the NPCs but that doesn't happen. I need a full 3-4 shots to the face of a Monolith wearing an exoskeleton to bring him down, and then only if i'm lucky, but when it's them shooting my face i die like a watermellon hit by a truck. I wouldn't mind that either IF i was wearing nothing but rags, but i'm not. I'm wearing a proto exoskeleton and equipped with an empty artifact and 2 upgraded carbon steel plates. I can tank other NPCs just fine most of the time but given how comom the KS-23 is even in the hands of bandits it gets tiresome.

Oh, i almost forgot, theres a bunch of AK rifles that can't mount the PSO scope even though its listed in the description.

Wonderfull addon otherwise ! Cheers mate ! XD

"if Ethylia wants me to take it down I will" - Thats kind of standard in this community as far as i noticed, which is why i mentioned in my answer that authors who actually worry about their work will explicitly state on their description what license they are using and any caveats to it they may want to add. Its looking sweet ! Maybe i'll install that mod myself seeing as there is no early warning to emissions XD

Allright man. Just ping me with the link when it's ok and i'll link to it in the main post. Also, a "proprietary" license most of the time just means the author couldn't be bothered to actually choose a license for his work (like i did) and is the default option when uploading, so if you don't even realize the option is there the license will end up as proprietary. The authors who DO bother with licenses make a point of making that much clear in the mods description itself. So people usually do the mods then IF the author complains they negotiate with the author and if that fails they remove the mod.

Allright then ! Didn't knew that mod used surge manager script. A suggestion though, use Notepad++, its what i used because it has an awesome search function and you can install a compare script that compares 2 files and highlights the differences. When you are done if you want to send it my way i'll post it here as a patch too. XD

I don't see why it wouldn't, or need a patch for that matter. I checked that mod out and all it seems to do is the same function of the blowout siren for psi-storms, and the only thing my mod does is eliminate the horrendous camera shake caused by the quake effect. If you can tell me how my mod somehow interferes with that i'll see what i can do XD
