Hey friend, i have also been trying to get DEI to work these last days, to no luck. I have been following your steps, but my game still doesn`t want to run the mods, just launching vanilla. The only logical answer for me now is that i do not have a non-steam version of Rome2. Any other cool advice after your adventures to get this mod to work?
My mod managaer recognizes the mod files and i am able to tick them, but when i launch the game steam gives me a fault message where i can press OK or cancel, and when the game starts no mods. Also the files in mod manager has 86 conflicts.
I am close to giving up:/
