That is kinda the point. The textures are put into 1k rather than 4k in order to make the computer not kill itself.

If you have the Steam version you do not need the 4 gb patch. Otherwise, there are plenty of existing resources to figure it out :) Google away.

The custom maps for GC don't even exist yet.

I did have few questions. Do you plan on adding another small frigate for the Zann Consortium? Playing skirmish, they feel really weak tech 2 and 3. I was thinking maybe thing something along the lines of a Munificent, or another just all around good frigate workhorse. As it stands, their lategame is great, but the Empire and the Rebels totally outclass them midgame, at least in skirmish.

Also, is there any way you'd recommend the game being ran? My friend and I try to play multiplayer, but the game crashes and desyncs a lot midfight, especially in Galactic Conquest. We really love this mod, but we want to be able to play the mod stably together. We have the 1k texture pack and 9.5 installed.

Will there be any Jedi/Sith? Any heroes?

Can i make a request? Can the VO's for the battledroids not be the ultra goofy ones from Episode 3 and TCWs? There's plently of semi serious and more badass sounding ones from the movies and other games such as Battlegrounds and Republic Commando to use. I've tried other mods, and it's always super annoying as a CIS loyalist to have my army sound like a bunch of inept and bumbling idiots. The ghostly and intimidating voices from the first renditions are the best and make the player take pride in their army.
