hello doomers, you all good? i hope so, i'm updating the sprites and making the version without red tint, while i'm at it, id suggest you use the new upload in the addon section of BD made by Alice_The_Pzhychotik, he has a few more sprites and graphical fixes in his version, and i'm basing the updates of the addon on that version from now on, because a part of my work gets easier that way, but expect a new version between these days or next week, which will include the latest version of the carbine sprites, which means new ADS, new firing and new ADS firing sprites, i may not change the other sprites because they're mostly almost the same as PB's current version

I think i'll try later, it's a great addon that i also play so i'll be in it once i fix the normal version

What do you think of making this some sort of "shared addon"? Mostly because i was about to update my version of the addon, adding new ads sprites and fire sprites (PB's current sprites) because, for example, the firing sprite seems a bit weak, and when you ads it obstructs the view, so i was about to update it.

more than saying thanks again, i recommend you making an update that comes with a simple patch, or adding in the desc something about the error and how to fix it.
the patch would be erasing the monsters folder from the "HIGHRES" one, both in the full size and the optimized pack (except for the monsters one for obvious reasons)

another thing, only in case you need to know: it happened to me using latest stable GZ (4.6.0) with The Ultimate Doom wad file (Doom 1) loading both the mod (D4T 2.5) and the addon with ZDL

i would help you suggesting a solution or something, but i have no idea about that bug, but for now i can only tell you that the mod of the sword is EOA:Eternal, not base EOA
I don't remember that error, but if you have the latest GZ, the problem should be in the order, first goes the assets, then the code.
I'd recommend ZDL if you don't know how to load it in an specific order (if you're a drag and drop user)

You have to drop it in this order to work (or use ZDL) with the latest GZDoom version:
EOA_Assets.pk3
EOA_Code.pk3
Use GZDoom instead, ZDoom is missing some code GZ has to run mods

Edit: to make it run is a bit hard, but you can do it.
you have to download the EOA:E sprite update in the addon section of the mod, and use only the code, unless you like the sprite update, wich also can't work with the newest EOA, so ignore it if you want to play the Eternal version, (i don't remember this part well, i made all this a long time ago) i THINK you can use the assets file from this EOA version (the latest) or one that may come with some addon that i can't remember. Anyway, i recommend using ZDL to load it in the correct order, which is: EOA_Assets, then EOA_Code and then EOA_Eternal (the order is from up, to down)
