Yes, there is. If you own a flash cart (like the EverDrive64 or 64Drive), you can save the patched ROM onto an SD Card and play it on console. We made sure to test everything so that it would run on an N64. That took a fair amount of time and effort to pull off, but it was definitely worth it.

Mupen64 is a great emulator to use for online matches in GoldenEye and Perfect Dark. The ++ Beta version is ideal, so if you're searching for it, make sure to get that one.

They should all match their original damage percentage. The only weapon that (as far as I know) didn't in release 4a, was the Silver PP7. It was actually weaker than it should have been, but has been corrected since.

It may feel as though they are more powerful than in the original, but there also isn't that moment of invulnerability that GoldenEye 007 had. After you get hit, you're still open to attack. That can cause your health to deplete in the blink of an eye.

I used to love this track in the original game. This version has the same flavour, and almost gives a creepier "A Nightmare on Elm Street" kind of feel. Very cool.

Hehe, well I guess you could say the same thing to Rare, since they were the ones who originally put it into the "Pistols" weapon set. ;)

Compared to Jill Masterson, Galore's hair was a much "dirtier" blonde. The shots of her out in the sun made it appear lighter, due to the shine.

We're still hard at work on GE:X. There's a few more weapons nearing completion, and the "Assignments" (formerly known as Challenges) in VR Mode have started taking shape. The next release should offer some great new content to keep you playing until we get the solo / co-operative campaign going. Check back for updates, usually in the form of images, regularly.

Yeah. More specifically, the Perfect Dark v1.1 NTSC ROM. Just download the zip for the most recent release and use the right XDelta to patch your ROM. There are different tools you can use for this, but I'd recommend getting the GoldenEditor / Perfect Editor combo from the GoldenEyeVault.com.

All the sound effects are from the original GoldenEye 007 game, as well as from Perfect Dark.

This is a ROM modification of the original Perfect Dark v1.1 NTSC game from the Nintendo 64. You need to play it on an N64 emulator (such as Project64 or Mupen64), or on console through a backup device.
