I second what Raze said. We've learned a lot over the time that we've worked on this. You can bet you'll have quality releases from our team in the future, this project included!~ Thanks for your understanding.

Sorry for the wait! Yeah VGparastar1 solved the cracking peanuts, the new sounds are awesome. We'd like to release it, but we also wanted to add a ton of new features in the next update. It should make each character unique in ways that hopefully won't be too game-breaking and might make amnesia interesting again for those who may have been taking a break from it. Anyways, we plan on releasing very soon. Thank you for your patience and support!
That sounds doable. I'll look into that, might be hard with just the one episode to go on though.
Yeah those are intentionally left blank. There aren't enough instances of any of the characters breathing in and out slowly and consistently. Those sounds are used rarely and I didn't like Daniel's original recordings either anyways so I felt it'd be fine to have them taken out of the game altogether.
I think I did change pain and sanity noises, but you're right I should change the "cracking peanuts in the dark" sound, I hadn't thought of it. Thank you for the input
I might look into that, I haven't experimented much with items - it may be that editing such things requires there to be a separate custom story, but I don't know for sure since I never made one. Thanks for the ideas, they're definitely fun to experiment with and may go miles in improving the mod.
What can I say? You hold a special place in my heart.
It would be kind of pointless since it's the same as installing it. I have an installation tutorial up on the youtube channel. You just need to follow it and use the one labeled uninstall instead of Applejack.
Thank you! We still have plenty more features planned, we'll see how it pans out with Machine for Pigs coming out soon!(\
I did a clean reinstall of everything using only the files I uploaded and I got it to uninstall just fine. It should be as easy as over-writing your old sound files. You should make sure that the sounds in steamapps/common/amnesia the dark descent/ are actually being replaced, I thought it might've been a permissions issue but that wouldn't make sense as to how you installed it in the first place. In any case, keep me updated.
I think you're extracting uninstaller.rar to the wrong place then. It has to go in the same folder as your amnesia.exe if you have the steam version, or in your "redist" folder if you have any other.
Nothing major at the moment, right now we're just making adjustments to the lantern models for each character - we'll see where we go from there I suppose.
Is everything the same or is it just the footsteps?
Uninstaller.rar, it's in the downloads section if you don't have it.
This works for both story mode as well as any custom story you play that does not have a separate executable or batch file. If you haven't played the campaign yet at all I think you should wait to install the mod. Up to you though.
Thank you! Your support is important to me and I really appreciate your post and review!
Mod stands for and always will stand for "modification". That is what this is (a modification of the game) regardless of what you personally define it as. Sorry to hear you aren't going to give it a try, but thanks for posting your opinion.
Oops, just noticed there's no uninstaller included in this one, I'll upload it separately for those who don't have version 1.0
I understand where you're coming from. Thanks for your honest opinion!
Yeahh I'll try not to worry myself over the ratings too much. Thanks for the comment though, means a lot.
Wow. Thank you, that is quite the compliment. I can't say much for the community standards myself, but I do agree whole-heartedly with you on the stale custom stories that have been produced lately. Regardless, I sincerely appreciate your well-thought out comment. You're awesome.
Shine!
