Alright, I've gotten the game to run, and I'm sad to say that this remake has already greatly disappointed me thanks to whoever decided to mess with the original voices. The thing with the secretary and the fat commander, who you can barely understand and constantly talks about food, is an immense downgrade from the original conversation when you meet Barney. Who the heck decided to do that? Perhaps I may find the Source port more satisfying...

Seriously, that was an awful idea to mess with the dialogue, which was a major element that made the original HoE a classic. It's like new things were added that people thought were going to be funny, but ended up killing the original story.

I have been waiting for this game to be updated from the original for a while! I guess I've been living under a rock for some time. I copied the "Evil" folder into the half-life directory, but I still don't see how to actually run this mod. Forgive me for sounding like such a noob, but How do I actually play it? Did I indeed install it hcorrectly? Don't tell me the new Steam UI prevents playing this mod...
