There are known issues with certain Water Hazard maps regarding save corruption, unfortunately.
Indeed, the solution is just as Dwenzy says. I had hoped to make this a totally streamlined process, but either due to user error or machine error, it hasn't been that way. I've asked moddb if I can reupload both SMODs I've uploaded with the HL2 maps legally, and hope they can get back to me soon to further streamline playing these great mods.
Did you put the Standalone installer in steamapps/sourcemods, and do you have Half-Life 2 installed, along with Source SDK 2006, and you have started up both of these at least once? And then did you install SMOD Standalone?

This is such an odd issue. I deleted my SMOD Standalone, reinstalled it, and downloaded this file and everything loads properly. The only thing I can assume is user error here regarding SMOD Standalone's installation, but luckily there's a quick fix. Go into your Half-Life 2\hl2\maps, copy all of the maps to your SMOD's map folders. Do NOT overwrite the maps that are present within.
You followed them exactly? You ran Half-Life 2 at least once, you ran Source SDK 2006 at least once, and then you ran the SMOD Standalone installer from within steamapps\sourcemods, the same steamapps where common\Half-Life 2 and common\Source SDK Base is?
Did you follow the SMOD Standalone installation instructions to the letter? I just downloaded the file now, with a fresh SMOD Standalone install, and I am able to load the maps.
It's probably just your internet wigging out. They work, double checked just now. At the cost of sounding like an error webpage, try it again later.

What does your gameinfo.txt within v8 and bossn00b SMODs look like?
EDIT: I see what's happened! Son of a gun, thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I'm really wondering how anyone else ran this at all with such a blatant oversight on my part. Go to your gameinfo.txt and add this line:
game "|gameinfo_path|..\..\..\..\common\Half-Life 2\hl2"
to where the ones that look like it are. That will solve your problem for both bossn00b's SMOD, and Redux v8. I'll need to reupload both with the proper gameinfo. Thank you so much.

3/10/2020: I have fixed the bonus maps that were said to not have worked, and added a few more from a mappack specifically made for SMOD. Access them with the console via the maps *, and then going down the list to see what's not the HL2 campaign. The maps are:

I had issues with the AI not functioning like they should which was solved by loading the map again if issues were present.
If you do not wish to download this again just for those maps, in about a week or two I will upload these maps, and another mappack, as an entire separate addon for this SMOD, Redux V8, and Final (should you have Final).

Are you sure? I just checked dm_torrent, the titanic tdm one, and obj_, they all seem to work.
