Excellent for a space-only release. While its supposed to keep the original FoC experience, it instead improves on what Petroglyth left out. The factions are all unique, with their own strengths and weaknesses (e.g. Empire has lots of TIEs and high-damage ships, weak against anti-fighter and durable ships), and they each have a few ships which are unique to themselves. Better yet, the Consortium isn't overpowered anymore!

I have encountered a few bugs however, but seeing as this is a Beta, I'm sure these will be fixed soon.
