Just out of interest. What part exceeded the Fair Use clause according the legal team? Also have you attempted to attain the permission from him since? Would be shame to see all your work be vain and naught.

Sorry folks that it has been so silent for a long time. We have had some problems with motivation and RL has taken its toll. My new job is draining my time and energy. However we're still here and working on the mod, but it is slow at the moment. If any of you think that they might be a of an help, don't hesitate to contact.

Are Skavens already featured in campaign or will they ever be? Would really love to get a chance to play proper dominance with Skavens. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

That seems to have been exclusive to 4.KevOs (light infantry) in Summa. Also one of Horse Artillery units had small skull and explosion next of it in their helmets, however I believe it became more of a standard during Continuation War when there actually was enough helmets to go around.

Brewsters didn't see action during Winter War so for now they wont be included in mod. Lets see about that on second release for ArmA2/3.

Sorry to be an ***, but L-39 wasn't used in Winter War (beyond of 2 prototypes). Boys Mk. I would be more realistic choice for the time. Other than that your mod looks good, keep it up (might be enough for me to buy the game actually).

ArmA2 versio aloitetaan kun ArmAlle saadaan julkaistua. Ei pitäisi kestää niin kauan kuin ensijulkaisussa kestää.
Ja uutta moddb sivua ei voida laittaa, säännöt kieltävät sen. Pyydetään siirtämään ArmA2:n alle kun saadaan ensimmäinen julkaisu tehtyä.

Sure, not really secret or anything.
However I do use Jasc PSP8 so it might differ from current Photoshops (last I have is 7).
I greyscale original picture and copy it as separate picture (or as different layer). Original picture I add sepia toning (about 10 years) and on second picture I use black pencil effect (with fairly high detail). After that I paste second one over the first as top layer (soft light, occ. 20), then I add 3-4 layers of effect layers that I use to add effect of use on textures , plus sort of crumbled paper texture on top of it to make it look bit like photo.
Most of effect textures I use can be found from cgtextures.com, big thanks to them.
I know it isn't most detailed explanation, but its best I can provide now. Try out different combinations, you might even get notably better results than I did.

We will move the mod to Arrowhead after we make our first release for ArmA.

No intention, just a slow period, mostly due to my new job. A lot of small stuff got done, but nothing really worth of showing until today. Feature video was delayed due to some resistant bugs plaguing some of the features.

I already replied to this one, but for some reason it didn't take it...
Anyway basically there is quite big bunch of vehicles, mostly tanks. Tanks are based on T-26, T-28, BT-series and Komsomolets families, at the moment there is around 10 tank variations ingame. We hope to add Vickers 6-ton to this list still. For cars we have ZIS-5 and for planes we have Fokker D.XXI and I-16 Polikarpov.
So total list of vehicles is probably around 15-20.

That is Soviet BA-10 from pre-WW2. Turret is same model as on T-26 model 1933, not similar to KV-1.

Well it is a yummy plane, somehow the snow in wings looks kinda bad. Maybe I should remove it.

I have never minded all too much about graphics in games, rather how they are to play. However I don't find ArmA graphics poor and it aint freshest game anymore.

Yup, it was sort of an artillery tank. Its howitzer didn't pack enough punch to knock Soviet tanks out so it was concidered as failure. Lets see if we bring it in mod, certainly not high on our list and its still problem for 2nd release.

For Winter war (1st release) its planned that finns have Vickers (6-ton) Mark E. Just to even things up a bit, regardless that there were only few of them at the time.

In Continuation war (2nd release) there is conciderably more tanks for finns from T-26 to T-34, so pretty much same as Soviets. Of course we can't leave Stug III (Ausf G) our, due to their notable role in 1944 battles.
