I'm sure you're eager for more info, but they probably aren't ready to give an update like that yet. Just be patient.

I think you'll find that ES6 won't be coming out for a while. They said they'd finish Starfield first, which itself was implied to be a next generation consoles game. Mod projects should have plenty of time to release before it.

I agree that it should be hard, but I think there's a point to be considered that making the minimum level too high could make the mod too difficult to access in a playthrough. Especially for people who would only have this mod and a few others in their modlist. Reaching level 80 in a huge modlist with a bunch of quest mods and other stuff might be very possible, but much harder with a more trimmed down playthrough.

That being said, it's also important that the mod be really challenging for much higher level characters too. Some of the boss videos shown have the character as around level 100 and still having a pretty hard time, so I suppose you just have to hope the level scaling accounts for keeping the mod challenging. Either way, I hope it's properly challenging no matter what your level is, Skyrim really lacks proper endgame content.

I dunno about the second question but the answer to the first is that it's designed for high level characters. It's a Dark Souls inspired mod with really difficult bosses that will be hard/challenging for even the strongest characters. Also, I've also heard a few people mention the bosses would scale with you all the way up to level 200 or something, though I don't actually know the dev source for that one.

Anyway, I'd expect a lower level character to get totally smashed. This would be more of a quest mod you'd play near the end of a playthrough when you're really strong but still want something really challenging. Most other quest mods lack that sort of thing and are designed around low to mid-level characters, so I'm looking forward to something that could be described as endgame content with a lot of interesting and challenging boss fights.

There are plenty of Skyrim projects still under development, some of which may be years away (Beyond Skyrim and Odyssey of the Dragonborn?). Hell, there are even still people making mods for Morrowind, and people do in fact play that game, which is much older than Skyrim. Also, Bethesda has said that the next TES game is far away.

Making a mod of this scale takes time, it's all volunteer work, and I'm sure there will still be plenty of people eager to play it whenever it releases. I'm holding off on a playthrough until this and several other projects are done, for example.

I asked this before, but you guys keep backups, right? In case of something like a hard drive failure, that is.

Was just reading this post on /r/skyrimmods, and it reminded me.

Bit of an odd question, but you guys keep backups, correct? Reason I ask is because I was reading about old Morrowind mods, and how some were cut short/cancelled due to very unfortunate things like hard drive failures. Wizards Island being the one I'm referring to.

I assume so, but I figured I'd bring it up.

It all really does sound incredible. Out of curiosity, you mention that some of the smaller worldspaces are more experimental/unique in their structure. Anything else you can tell us about that, or is it something better left a surprise?

Is that boss Mora himself, or just some guardian under his control or something along those lines?

Do you have plans for a gameplay trailer or something of that sort? Or would it not be worth the time it'd take to make it?

This is definitely gonna be great. How many bosses are we looking at here, given the heavy focus on boss fights in the mod? I know there's the 16 daedric lords, and the ones in the Lifeless Vaults, but you've also shown others like that Hera the Damned in the boss preview, so I have to assume there's some numbers of others.

Also, do you forsee installing this mid-playthrough to be acceptable? Given how high level a quest this will be, I'll probably be making a character now, so that by September, it will hopefully be prepared.
