May I suggest you place this command cl_drawhud 0 inside the autoexec.cfg to remove that crosshair which hinders on immersion

This is quite good for your first mod but there are some areas for improvements:
-Some details on the walls would be nice (posters, cracks since its an old apartment etc)
-The texture for the counter/table (under the radio) is not really suitable, may I suggest you use a prop or another texture?
-The lighting in both rooms are white. White is a colour that doesn't really bring any emotion/mood to the play, so I would recommend that you change the colour of the lights into something more yellowish (to fit in with the old apartment theme). This website has a lot of information on lighting (and level designing): Developer.valvesoftware.com

Of course it is up to you whether you want to use my suggestions, however it is these small little details that differentiate your mod from the others.

I know this is a wip, but may I suggest that you align the floor texture (16 hammer units per tile). Also, I think you should try using colour correction (http://www.interlopers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=17780) to make it black and white, high contrast etc to make it more 'nightmarish'

I would recommend you add some variation to the colour. Maybe change the ceiling texture and the colour of the light. Other than that, good job and keep it up.
