Make sure you're running Steam before you run the shortcut or CoD2SP.exe

If that doesn't work, you might have to download Steam.dll and paste it where CoD2SP.exe is

Here's what I did when using the shortcut.

Step 1) Right click the shortcut named "Hard Core Tactical Mod", which is in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 2 folder

Step 2) Click on Properties

Step 3) You'll see that the Target Box looks like "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\CoD2SP.exe" +set fs_game Hard Core Tactical Mod.

You want to change that to this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 2\CoD2SP_s.exe" +set fs_game Hard Core Tactical Mod"

Step 4: Change what is in the "Start in" box, which is directly under the "Target" box to this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 2"

That should allow you to run the shortcut properly. However, you don't need to use the shortcut as you can just extract the .iwd files and launch the game normally using the "Call of Duty 2" mod which is really the Hardcore Tactical Mod.

Hi, Triby, thanks for the amazing mod. However, I don't understand Spanish and during the documentary cutscenes, there are no English subtitles. Could you please add English subtitles to those cutscenes?
