Hey, the economy is always a WIP because of the high unit upkeep and the corresponding incompetence of the AI, lol.
There's tons of advantages the AI gets, but still some factions get boundless wealth while others go bankrupt...

Hey guys, I just uploaded an improved version of the submod but with a huge new campaign map that took a full month's work to populate! Enjooooooy!
Certainly a fun suggestion but that would take thousands of turns to reach in-game, since the Ireland campaign is 12 turns per year and it starts 150 years before Norse arrival in Ireland :)

True! The map would be easy to reuse in a British Isles scenario, however Viking raids from Ukraine to Spain wouldn't be feasible on that map.
Credits for our hugely optimized script must go to our scripter Belovèse who literally halved the amount of script monitors without cutting a single event!
Britain campaign is much more sandbox of course, so turn times are super fast, thankfully.
Yes, the smaller families and the 5-turns-per-year timespeed do pose a bit of a problem, I have to admit. I might have to add more family members to reduce the chance of game over due to no family :)
Thank you! I certainly love working on it. Viking Age... it's always interested me so much but I think it's been done too much. I want to do something much much earlier, like Bronze Age early :)
That's a totally different game and more than a decade difference in engine, modability, etc... I'm afraid I'll have to stick to M2TW :)
Yup, that's me. But so far my attempts at importing DBM's anims have been unsuccessful. But if so I'll implement them as fast as I can.
If you want to fix the unit info pic you can find it in data/ui/unit_info/ximbroz/germans_axemen_info.tga and change its name to german_axe_warband_info.tga

Have you installed the 4GB Patch for M2TW? If not, install it as soon as you can :)
If you have, I don't know what else might help instead of reducing unit size and quality. We've got 'sprites' for all units and mounts so that shouldn't be a problem, and small unit size is recommended anyway.

Sadly, the main campaign isn't geared towards hotseat mode. I will most probably have to create a different descr_strat and campaign_script to make that possible. There's far too many essential scripts running to make HS a possibility.

Hey! They certainly do, but not in the sense that you can let them go berserk and that they're out of your control, like in RTW.
Most Germanic factions (I think all of them apart from the more Romanized Franks and Goths) have three types of 'heroic warrior cult' units: Bear-shirts, Wulf-hides and the Swine Array. They all have different specialties (Bear: melee strength, Wolf: speed and missiles, Boar: charge) and they can be recruited from higher tier religious buildings (the idea being that they are devoted to specific gods).
They aren't something to use as a regular unit in your field armies, but rather a novelty to break the enemy's lines by flanking or to scale a wall or be first through a gate and break whoever's defending it. They have very slow replenishment rate and the units are very small so they won't be ideal for every situation.
Go to the cfg file and change ‘windowed = true’ to ‘false’
And never rename this mod :)
Hey, this mod looks amazing and I'm itching to play it but whenever I extract it, I get a message of "Cannot extract: Archive file is incomplete" for literally every file in the mod. When I continue anyway the mod is 1.5MBs :)

hey, I've just tried your fonts! So can you just make any font for M2TW? Do you wanna help us make a unique yet accessible general font for the mod that we can incorporate into the main mod?
