The mod is great, flawless to an extent but I'm taking away 1 point because of the Steam exclusivity. That's like betraying the true fans of the series. I know CC can do whatever they want to as it's their mod but if they felt like made this because they were fans of the series or they wanted to do it for the fans, then that's utter ********.

Talking about the mod, it's outstanding for a free mod. Even the soundtrack, they have stayed true to the original. I know a lot of DX elitists would not even give the new soundtrack a chance while playing, but they'll be missing out. The new OST is amazing, gives a fresh feel to the game.

I have some nitpickings in level design though, UNATCO HQ feels claustrophobic and looks like a maze, maybe if they had made it more spaced out it would've felt better. Then there's a SWAT van inside Battery Park. How can a huge SWAT van get inside the shanty near Battery Park? I don't see any roads there. I'm only upto Hell's Kitchen and I've spotted several and these things, though small, bother me a lot.

Overall, highly recommended. Please play with the new soundtrack.

This mod flawlessly captures the Silent Hill environment. Even though there were no enemies, the game never ceased sending a chill down my spine. I never thought I'd be scared to play a game with no enemies. The level design was outstanding. The levels made me feel uneasy and claustrophobic, which is a good thing as it shows how brilliantly it captured the Silent Hill environment. I loved the ending too. I know a lot of people would hate / dislike it but I specially loved it. Great mod 10/10

Man I loved this mod so much

Loved every bit of this game. The voice acting is amazing and the dialogues are humorous. Also, love the replay value.
