of course, hopefully with the next patch.

I guess you have only Shader 1 enabled in your video settings, so changing it to Shader 2 should fix this problem.
I hope you enjoy it and that I havn't confused any files (which happens in almost every release) ;)
And thanks moddb for the upload authorisation! :)
@roadking: somewhere in front of this mountain
@DuBass: Got them from C:\Spiele\Medieval II Total War\tgas ;)
that's not really what I'm working on and they are long finished. This was more or less just a little side-project. Nevertheless I think the work was worth it, since almost all horses can be replaced with much more realistic ones.
no worries, TATW is far from dead and there will be some big news soon. ;)
And a BIG thanks to everyone who has nominated TATW for the moty awards! :)
ups, thanks for the note. ;)
And thanks everyone for your comments! :)
like a citadel with white walls. Not like the 'real' Minas Tirith
yet...
I don't think there is a german translation for 2.x yet
download patch 2.1, this will fix all wrong sounds and music.
Thanks again Legolose for all your help and support! :)
@everyone
Patch 2.1 released, which should fix most (if not all) bigger problems and possible crash reasons:
Twcenter.net
Moddb upload and update will probably follow tomorrow.
settlement modding is very very hard and tedious with M2, but yes, it is planned...
like the installation notes say, you have to download 6 files for the latest version: Part 1&2 of the 1.0 version and 4 patches.
No hotfixes are needed, however a little bug-fixer for 1.4 should be released this weekend...
the 'estimated' release may be mid-february, but it is a very rough estimation...
to play custom battles with settlements, see this thread:
Twcenter.net
what you are considering "fun" was actually a big exploit with archers, since like you said, you could defeat whole armies with them.
And actually the archer's strength decrease was very small and the majority considers this a good change.
Regarding Eriador: they are actually supposed to have a weak military, but a good economy. However, Eriador is currently completely reworked anyway and much will change.
You can see the plan for Eriador here:
Twcenter.net
please see me answer above...
thanks for the note and especially for reporting what the reason was. :)
I just heard about this problem from another guy and it is indeed Ulfast who is causing this problem...
There will be a little "bug-fixer" today or tomorrow, who will also fix this...
this a known bug, which can't be solved unfortunately.
But there is a work-around for this problem, see here:
Twcenter.net
you are one of the first who finds Rhun too weak. Most people find playing Rhun too easy. ;)
Anyway, balancing is a constant process, so I will also look into your 'complaint'...
the patch notes state that the 1.4 patch is NOT save-game compatible, so it's obvious why you couldn't load a game from 1.3.
Also, the vast majority of players in the official forum can start a campaign with 1.4, so the problem has to be on your side. (wrong installation, own modification, sub-mods, etc..).
I can only recommend you to deinstall and reinstall the mod again and make sure you follow the installtion steps mentioned in the above post.
@tezz
Such problems are actually always related to a wrong installation, to own (wrong) modifications or to used sub-mods where the patch is applied on top of it. I would recommend to deinstall and install TATW again.
@NIX311,
I probably should have mentioned that the 1.4 patch is not save-game compatible, so you can't load saved games from 1.3...
For once Legolose is not correct. ;)
Patch 1.4 will have A LOT of new stuff (not only some bug fixes), but the rework of Eriador is still far away.
There will be a little preview of what is coming soon...
Thanks for the feedback. I really tried to eliminate all vanilla pictures, so if you tell me which pics are missing, please let me know.
As for the voices, it is still some longer process to replace all voices (there are thousands of them) but we are working on it. ;)
