Cheers my friend! :D
Yeah, reforger is pretty great. Iplayed the game a lot and worked with their tools a bit. But at the endof the day i think going with ue was the right decision.
As its still a hobby to me, it will be freetoplay :)
So far its still hobby for me, we'll se what the future brings. :)
Cheers! Soon as the IndieDB page is up ill let you guys know :)
Thanks buddy :D
Its the same for me, i really love the BF2 sp/coop and modding it.
Thats why iam making this, for me its not about to reinvent the wheel i just want a working platform for my creations.
Also the fact, if this project gets released some day, people can also make custom maps etc as its unreal engine based.
Some good days ahead :)
The most models cant be used because of the copyrights etc, but there a lot of models out there made by modders like all the BSS stuff.
Iam sure i can use some of these. Also this project is just a few weeks old now, not even tried to get some people on board so far. So, iam sure things will come together. At the end of the day its about to have fun with that what iam doin - pretty sure going indie was the right decision.
Soon as the indiedb page is up, ill try to find some more people to join this project.
Well iam not done with modding BF2, still have some stuff to finish ;)
Thanks man!
Modding battlefield was and is a hell of a ride, thats for sure :D
Thanks man!
O:HD is a really nice project but iam tired of making mods.
Working on your own stuff feels so differend and motivates me even more :)
Yeah well, i really have to say it tooked me almost two years now to find a new home for that hobby.
All the stuff i did in ue5 so far, works just great :D
Cheers :D
Few weeks ago I started working on my own conquest-based game in Unreal Engine. Networkcode and bots are already running, both screenshots are from the first map I'm currently working on. More info soon :)
Thanks for the compliment :)
I think the PR maps are perfect for what they were made for. Large scale online battles without AI.
Simply legendary when it comes to battlefield moments :D
You can try to set it up inside the games menu or play a bit around with the serversettings.con. This was always a mess :D
Our online server is balanced aswell, run's 25 bots each side.
Cheers buddy, i tried to keep it as simple as possible :D
Hey there, thanks for your feedback! :)
Yes, we will add some shotgons, melee weapons and more content in the future.
Some weaponsounds are muted for you??
It's the conflicts map 'dahular outskirts' :D
Pretty cool to see that someone is still doing stuff for this mod. If there were ever an online event, I would be there :D
There are currently no knives in our Soldierkits.
Otherwise many bots would just run around with knives :D
We're thinking about reintroducing these by pickup kits
for humans in the future.
So far we have no map, large enough for planes.
We recently added the first helicopter(farakhu) and we will expand
the the aircraft sector in the future.
Great work! :D
Conflicts could also use minimaps like that^^
We will try to implement this as soon as possible after the upcoming release . But don't expect too much, as of today 27 different people have played on our server online using bf2hub. The rest seem to prefer to play alone offline.
Somehow i totaly missed this article - awesome work man, really love your style of texturing man! keep it up buddy! =)
Thanks man, nice that you like my work!
Have a look at bfeditor.org or in the project reality forums. There you will find basic tutorials on the subject of navmeshen. everything else comes with learning by doing I belive :D
Iam using max8 for navmesh editing.
Greetings :)
Nice! :D
Downloading right now and joing the server soon!
We're need to update our server with the newest Build. Soon as this is done I'll go for 2 map rotations testing. Should be done in a couple of days :)
