Hello!:), I am Turkish007, I live in Istanbul, but my hometown is Rize, which is the land of tea, corn-bread, anchovy, cabbage, and crooked noses :D I dont have a lot of time to play games, but when I do I play Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Verdun Online,Unturned, GTA-SA and a couple of other games. I am one of the leaders of Forgotten Hope Turkish Community. I am especially interested in 20th century history and I am good in Ottoman and Turkish history. I am a patriot in my own ways. I can also play the electric and acoustic guitar. I love jazz, blues and classic rock (huge Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan) Enjoy your time on my profile! :)

That pattern is relativly new, how did it end up as surplus?

also if you can pick those up, some ISIS or PKK goon can find a pair too. Doesn't that make it a security risk?

It was adopted in 2008, that's 6 years allrrady. I guess our army renewed its uniforms pretty fast, so some fell to the stores.

Dont worry, Erdogan allready supplies those organisations :P But yeah, they might. They dont sell stuff like ballistic vests, grenade pouches, etc...

I really like this camo tho, it looks like a mix of german WW2 pattern and some russian ones.

The camo was acquired from a mix of sattellite images of Turkey's terrain and foliage (which differs a lot from region to region) and was made so it would fit every region.

But yeah, does remind me of the German WW2 era autumn camo :)
