the fire bug on the tanks causing heat and sabots to fire, its like having the abrams an autoloader from the t-90! I got that problem too,maybe its reloading all its ammo.

thats plain obvious! That is really to close to the enemy for a tank to be hiding behind the bush. Not only they can hear it, they can see it, when the tank is further off like 2000ft or more than it a little more hidden.

Models are really a low priority objective for the mod team! The issues of the ai (as grajoa mentioned) in the near future must be changed if the developers can give access to the game engine itself for the modders although unlikely. What is more important is the change of the dynamics of game play : the mass number of units for example allowed to a Russian player such as 10 tanks (I proposed earlier) to an armor player to emulate a company size force within a Russian attack regiment. It copies that of real Russian tactics and numbers employed in a battle than 4 tanks max, and it would offset the inability of Russian armor players to gain ground although a competent American player could negate numbers anyway thereby giving balance. The same goes with combined arms use for the Russians, having the use of AT infantry and AA infantry at relatively high costs can give an edge to an armor player for both sides (especially for the Russians) again to emulate a real engagement and to at least provide some support to armor players if by some reason supporting players to an armor player fails teamwork.
In all, combined arms availability to all classes as exemplified above can bring more challenge if not address some issues of enhanced game play of certain factions and bring more excitement in a game session! After all who wouldn't want the same old fixes for graphics or some superficiality of a game than revamping the whole concept together! This is a mod for god sakes! A Modern Warfare mod! A mod which is promises an innovation to game play why not start to do so!

I concur with firewarrior, the Russians have somewhat an incapable tank that cannot rival down to the Abrams! So, the technological aspects should be swept away for strategy for Russian players.I propose that the Russian side should have more numbers to a user since WW2 and up to the modern day the Russians have used combined warfare tactics with the infantry and air during a Russian advance, and the to keep up with realism tanks should be limited to ten tanks per user(company level) keeping up with a real Russian advance strategy in War! The Tanks should then be priced fairly cheap but not to advantages for players in the order of 1000 to 950 for both the T-90 and T-80. The latter with light tanks such as the T-62 should be priced at 600 a unit since it is a near useless threat to the modern American forces! Keeping tide with real Russian strategy, infantry (importantly AT teams) should be available albeit costly at 900 per team and the rest to 850 per team to prevent spam. As for air cover is left to tactical aides which has to be priced at lower points(aka the Su-24 strafe runs) to 10 tac-points for extreme availabilty since its a little to expensive. The need for max recon power for the Russians is needed and the issue of radar tac aide has to be lowered in price to at least give Russians players more chances to use strategy! Some people might argue that this proposal is far to real or advantages because of spamming and overwhelming player. However, since the Americans do have the technological superiority the Russians still could lose by superior strategy of players and technology if a Russian player can not play as good! Now this may seem to much, but keep in mind this mod is for realism as far real gets this here proposal should be atleast noted and taken upon consideration.
