that is an interesting question. before anything I would check to see if the GOG version is set to auto update (if you are using GOG Galaxy to manage downloads). If it is, turn that feature off. Now I can say that installing a VTMB mod over existing mods is not a good things. But if you use a modloader (should be included in with UP 9.5) to sideload mods, it should get it working for you. I did an hour long video on installing mods in the modloader for VTMB (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE_lQ5nMliA). Of course, clean install and just TFN is preferable.
