You have to be kidding.
In a time where bland, mediocre, uninspired videogames go for 60-80 bucks?
If this were on steam I'd drop 30 bucks for it and I wouldnt feel ripped off, just saying.

I've been arguing with myself just now...
Do I really want to rate MISERY 10 out of 10?
That would mean that it's pretty much perfect, wouldn't it?

So I sat for a while, the pointer hovering over the rating bar, and I recalled upon the past 12+ hours of gameplay with this mod.

Approximately 1.734526 seconds later,
I voted 10 and slightly regretted there not being an option
for voting 11, for something really outstanding.
Without wanting to go overboard with the praise...

I really can not see any reason to rate this mod, in it's current state, anything less than 10.

I like every single bit of what I've seen so far.
The Artwork - though depressing - fits perfectly, for my taste.
The depiction of the countless firearms, their balancing and the gunplay in general are outstanding.
Everything seems extremely well thought of, all the bits and pieces being utilized have been molten together and poured into one sinister mould, creating an atmosphere that is truly menacing.

The stability surpasses all expectations,
not a single crash or gamebreaking bug in sight so far,
performance is absolutely fine (on my upper mid-class system).

Even though a lot of modders work is woven into MISERY,
I won't go around complimenting each one for their fabulous work.
Instead, I'll just kiss N.Aaroe's combat-boot-clad, snork-trampling feet for this compilation.

As for the supposedly brutal difficulty...
I can only recite my grandmother, who said:
There's nothing like bad weather...
Just badly dressed people.

Meaning: It's fair.
If I behave like an imbecile, I am bound to die like one in MISERY.
