Unfortunately I have to agree. Two different armor types spanning at least 150 to 200 years apart from each other. It doesn't make too much sense to include both, though most people wont care or notice. Keep in mind most gamers don't pay too much attention to the minor details, so to each their own.

It's not just the characters arm length, its the entire body thats not proportioned. Your team has a very interesting project in the works, and it looks like there's a ton of hard work going into this, but make sure your art assets reflect this as well. There are a lot of steps your character artist can take into fixing these proportions, check through google for orthographs, or have someone whose more familiar with human anatomy create one for you. The texturing looks pretty good, and the animations are fine if your going for something a bit more subtle. The only thing I'd really suggest is slowing down the movement of the head turn and arms/fold drop. The increase speed bursts distorts the realism your trying to convey with the character.

The main thing that bothers me about the player model, are its extremities. Due to the fact that as viewers, we're limited in examining the model through all perspectives, I can't tell if this is really an anatomy issue, or illusion from the perspective being shown. Judging from the way his feet are positioned, it appears to be recorded in a slightly top/down angle? Granted if thats the case, I believe your artist should rexamine his/her model and their general knowledge in human anatomy. Long story short, The arms and legs are too short for the characters head and torso, or vice versa.

lots of potential, the sounds could use more tlc

those footsteps are driving me nuts, I can't imagine playing this for more than a minute without becoming aggravated and annoyed, which is a shame because everything else looks wonderful. Aside from that, really enjoying the atmosphere and the creative design behind the game.

Indeed the concept is neat, there is a lack of projects within the genre so that helps with creating a strong fan base. Its design is relatively simple, but not very original which is something that could be expanded throughout the course of your development. Think of complexity in terms of design elements such as map layouts and of course challenges, I believe this is what will make or break your game. No pun intended as I type this, but I personally find the blood writing on the wall to be extremely cheesy. Perhaps its the style of writing which appears too "perfect", as each letter is perfectly aligned with one another (font typed?). If you must go this route, find a font that's more imperfect and choose a saturation that doesn't stand out as much. If your aiming for a "Sin City/Spirit" style, then the wacky hue's will work, just make sure your desaturated tones stand out just as well. Hope this helps a bit, good luck with your project!

Harimau - Theres much more to art than pretty backgrounds. The goal of a conceptual artist is to draw easily readable drafts of ideas or ideals from imagination. An "illustrator" should be able to tell a story through the look of the figure. If a background is needed to tell a story, then the artist has obviously not achieved his goal.

The character model is of pretty good quality, however, the textures used for the model cannot compare. I would think about reskinning the model later on if you feel the need to. If not, then thats your call.

Hi, amazing work thus far.
Minor crits;

Im not extremely fond of how the camera reacts to movement. Seems very... Sensitive? Also, animations could use more work, and the character runs way to fast. Some of the sounds could use some tweaking (footsteps sound to heavy or solid and in need of something a bit more subtle). Sorry to nitpick, but that pretty much covers it from what we saw in the vid.

However, the game does seem very intriguing. Overall good voice acting and interesting story thus far. Seems like it'll definitely keep players wanting more. Has a Gothic feeling for sure! Keep up the great work, looking forward to more updates!
