I have made some progress, but it's been a slow process. Hopefully I have some some new media to share before the end of the year. Stay tuned.

I've not played that source version and I probably never will so probably not. But there might be 'more rooms' to explore, after all, 'extension' is the keyword here. :)
Unfortunately, I didn't make the 2021 release. See the latest news I posted for a little bit of an explanation.
Not sure what I'm going to do just yet, need to experiment.
I also can't make any promises regarding Xash as I have zero experience with that. We'll see.
Urbles!
Yea, yea you should.😛
That is very much appreciated, that's the stuff the keeps me motivated. Hopefully the wait will be worth it for you. :)
It is, this is going to be such a significantly large update, I felt like I needed to make that clear by adding Redux in the title. I also didn't want this to become a whole new mod. Even though I changed the release date to TBD, the latest 1.1 release is still available for grabs.
Did you ask permission for this recreation?
I would totally do this with UE as well if it didn't use any custom code. Although, now that I think about it, technically this is still possible, editing the maps in such a way that it somehow hooks into one of Half-Life's original level files, and then simply start a new Half-Life singleplayer game from within Uplink Extended by opening the console window and enter 'map c0a0'. I'm going to experiment with this in the future, hopefully it'll work.
If you can't download it from moddb for whatever reason, try here instead: Twhl.info
So does this only work with your mod, not with vanilla HL2/Ep1/Ep2? Because I just tried it in unmodded HL2/Ep1/Ep2 and I couldn't get it to work, I kept getting the purple-black checkerboard textures ingame.
Yeah i know it's huge... Don't mention it.
You know, if i had the skills and resources to do just that, i'd totally go for it, but i don't.
Making this mod is already proving to be a huge effort and i just want to express my love for the space shuttle programm by making some sort of cinematic mod.
You must believe that what you're suggesting is really awesome but impossble to pull off by myself. I don't have modelers, coders, texture artists and i barely have any skills to do those myself, except mapping.
Sorry, but this is a huuuuuuuge effort.
I also have a bunch of other projects im working on.
I don't want to call this mod dead just yet.
Valve did'nt cancelled anything. Uplink is just the demo version of Half-Life.
Well, i would've fade out the monster after being killed, if it wasn't for the fact that the alien grunt that spawns in the elevator through a monstermaker does not have Fade Corpse flag.
As for the lighting in the same elevator, i asume you're talking about the lighting outside the elevator, the roof in particular?
That't weird. I don't ever recall such a glitch during playtesting. Im affraid i don't really have an answer or a solution to your problem. It could be local glitch on your end.
Otherwise i have no idea to be honest. :(
Version 1.2? I don't remember that... Where did you get it from?
Definitely not dead. There will be an update soon.
First of all: There's limited buildspace in Hammer, so i can't build everything fullsize if i still want room for movement.
Second: In the final version, everything is seen from camera's. You won't take control of the player (unless you disable the camera's) so you won't get the feeling that everything is scalled down.
In the Rollout demo video, i had control of the player character to show everything. That is probably why you get the feeling that it is so small.
Im sorry if this is a let-down for you.
Just for fun.
I've always loved the Shuttle and rocket launches in general so, im just making this for my own pleasure. :)
Why would UT2k4 be beter?
I prefer Source, actually.
Omgsplosion! I have arrived! Add me to the team ktnx.

Mainly a Half-Life 1 mapper.
