Yep!

So I just finished my first playthrough and I´m really amazed!

Graphics and gameplay habe improved much since the first release. Especially the skill- and uprade-system allow to adapt the gameplay to my personal preferences. Artifact hunting is much more fun since their size has been reduced, though they spawn a little too much.

However: LA is perfect for people who love a "slow" gameplay with a lot of exploring and wandering around - just my cup of tea. The level design ist fantastic! This is the Stalker game I ever wanted to play. No more reason, to play any other (since I played them already so many times...)

I can´t imagine, how much work you put in that, but I´m really, really thankful.

I´m pretty sure, there will be more improvements in the future and I will give it a replay at some time. Now it´s summer and time for the real world ;-)

Don´t know, if this bug already has been reported:
After finding the door code in Pripyat sewers, I couldn´t use the code panel anymore. Think I had the same problem in 1.3003. Repeated this part many times with old saves, but always the same. Luckily you can use the door code without "finding" it before, so I didn´t get stuck.
Also missed that bear like mutants from old version. Did you cut them out?

Besides that: Fantastic work! Gameplay has so much improved since 1.3003. I really love the world you created.

That´s really cool - I love this suit! Can it be found also in Yantar Underground?

You still get missions from him (getting special guns etc.), but there´s no more special quest like the ssp-100m-quest. That´s why I kept the suit.

I completed it once and it caused no trouble. Second time I decided to keep the suit as it gives you high protection and +20 weight (+30 with upgrades). Very useful when traveling through levels while carrying a lot of stuff.

Had this in every Stalker-game since SOC, so I don´t think it´s an LA specific problem.

I kept the suit you should find for Nimble in Yantar Underground (SSP-100M) und upgraded it to the max (costs a LOT). Now it gives me +30 weight and high protection.

I am using AMD card too. With radeon crimson driver 1.7 game keeps crashing on loading screen. With crimson driver 1.6xx the game runs fine except for some minor graphic glitches.

The problem ist caused by radeon crimson driver 17. I installed older version 16.12.2 and LA works fine! Only some water surfaces near anomalies are flickering, everything else is quite fine as far as i can see right now. Game looks fantastic on dx11!

Had the same problem on my old r 7 265. installed crimson driver 16.12.2 instead of 17.1 and now it works fine!

Here´s a solution for those AMD-Users, that recieve crashes while loading-screen on dx10 and dx11 (Win10 64-bit):

crimson driver 17.1 causes the problem! After I installed Version 16.12.2 the games runs very fine with excellent performance! Only some watersurfaces are flickering.
I also use dezo´s new bins. Hope, it works for you too.

1.4001 patch is corrupted. reinstall 1.3003 and 1.4000 and wait for the upcoming patch.

By reading the comments of some so called "fans", there´s one thing that really p****s me off: People telling Dezowave what they have to do or not to do and even offending them for their decisions. Already during development process people said "change this" and "change that", "add this" and "add that"... everybody should accept, that this is Dezowave´s hard work, Dezowave´s game and Dezowave´s decision how it will look like and how to handle the situation - take it or leave it. Dezowave are not our employees.

If you want to make a better game, spend some years of hard work without payment in developing your own. If you want to support Dezowave and Lost Alpha, donate some money and shut up!

There´s no such thing as an "unfinished piece of crap" - just read and understand (!) Dezowave´s statements. Whatever will be released on 26th of April will be a milestone of Stalker history. That´s for sure!
