Hey, those interested. This project is very much alive, despite long breaks, it has still been ongoing. I have merely neglected updating here, and even my site, for about a year now :P

Hey CADE, I've answered your question regarding the glock by "gooseman", whoever that is.

That pistol was used in another doom project within doom community, and the use of it dues credit to the authors of the wad resource I used to get it. I am not interested in it's origin, and it is a modified sprite of the model.
I chose it from a favourite doom wad of mine, because I like it. From realguns.wad I beleive.

Urg. Id rather leave the doom Giant sites out of moddb. Have some quiet at least here.

Well, its becoming more like the quality of quake games so perhaps more incentive for you to play it ;)
You will like the coloured quake style lighting and soft shadows ive bunged in there.

The Hellmouth uses its own addon- to legacy. You will need the latest legacy at the time of release, and no patching necersary. just run the hellmouth exe in the legacy DIR . Just using the wadfile with legacy, you wont see any of the WMV movies or intros. (internal cutscenes still work)

Hey earthquake, ive visited ur site a few times in the past. All those things u mentioned have been done near perfectly, player of player, true 3d, visplane limitations removed, resolutions higher than 1024x768, powerful and convenient launchers etc. Check out www.doomworld.com and look up source ports. Theres legacy (which im modding for at moment, look up Hellmouth) Jdoom (which is fantastic in other areas, with great md2/3 support) , Edge, ZdoomGl (with slopes and particles)
Non off these take away the classicness or beauty that is doom, just has more options for your playing pleasure. Doom95 is nothing in comparison. Now you can play doom without wasting your modern hardware.

Look it up, and you will be pleased. Im very surprised you did'nt know of any of this ; at least thats how you've come across.

That logo looks remarkably like my hellmouth custom logo, which i sent to intense yesterday :D

Well I think the source mods should be displayed, show ppl how cool doom is lookin now, and that it even more qualifies to be played today. Now it is silky smooth open gl and true 3d, and theres many sites, clans, communities and thousands of active doomers out there. Dont forget the awesome multiplayer software that makes it easy to play online with competitions etc. And the countless thousands of wads. A stronger community than is quake, for the emotional impact this has had after 9 years.
DooM is my life
