This is actually saddening. I haven't checked HDTP for awhile but I don't see any progress. Well, at least there haven't been any updates on here.
The animations you see are to be considered placeholders in some cases. They have been discussed and they will most likely be redone.

But I stick by what I said. It would still reduce the quality greatly.
Because we only have a 256x256 pixel square to work with. The engine does not allow for anything higher than that. If we mapped the entire body, it would probably look no better than the originals.

We are remodeling everything. Not just select stuff. Every in game model will be remodeled.
I havn't played DX in awhile but if I remember correctly, you will see it for sure in your boss' office. Sadly, I actually forgot his name XD.

All weapon modifications in game are put on the model dynamically depending on which mods you have on your weapon. This works on all weapons.
Head over to Hdtp.net and check out the forums. Read through the troubleshooting thread that was made for this release. It is inside the HDTP Discussion section. If you do not find a solution to the problem you are having, post a reply and someone will help you out.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that ragdoll physics are available to us, as we are only upgrading the graphical quality of the game. I could be mistaken but, I think that the DX:R project will make that available to the fans.
Also, if you are worried about compatability between DX:R and HDTP, they will work together. The DX:R team has made sure that they will work together, because what point is there to upgrade the engine and not upgrade the graphics? :P
As the description says, the texture isn't even near 10% finished. That is a bunch of placeholder textures just to give it a bit of color for the render.
